Yes, I do remember that interview... it is definitely very upsetting to lose a friend in cowedly acts of terrorism. I can actually identify with Karan Bhai's situation, because just a 2 weeks before the 9/11 attacks, I was on top of the one of the twin towers, and I became friends with some of the staff that worked there. We agreed that we would keep in touch... but unfortunately their lives were lost in the attacks. In Karan Bhai's case, he lost a friend who he knew for a lot longer... and so it must definitely have been depressing beyond what words can explain.
I've not seen the performance yet, but it will be one of the 4 performances that I will be watching - the other 3 will be Mr Baichung B, Gauhar, and Parul 😊
By the sounds of it, Saroj ji is turning out to be a rather rubbish judge... 6 was probably the lowest mark that was handed out that night, and I refuse to believe that every other performance was better than Karan Bhai's!
