just wanted to ask can i get help on IF with stuff not related to IF?

basically i'm not able to get any sound from Firefox web browser version 3.0.8. I tried same youtube page and other sites in Internet Explorer 7 sound seems fine there but i hate using IE7. i just noticed it now and googled for solutions, and tried them out no luck, do you know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem
