the reason for this is that people on this forum think that sourabhee and kapil are not Indian because of their chinky eyes which is a stupid thing to say !!!
I don't want India to recruit Nepali Gurkha's into the India Army. We can recruit them from India.
that i completely agree with..however, i can't deny that sometimes it is necessary to have the Gurkha's in the Indian Army as they are the first to lay their lives when an attack is on the country, e.g. Kargil and many others.. if someone is protecting a country and is willing to lay his/her life for the country, then wouldn't you call them patriots..?? or would you still call them mercenaries..??
Only a citizen of a nation can be a true patriot. Therefore, Indian-Gurkha's are patriots who fight for their country. Nepali-Gurkha's, on the other hand, fight and die for money first and therefore are mercenaries.

They say that this new battle cry will terrify the enemy even more than the old one.

Also, in line with the new battlecry, they will no longer carry the khukri into battle. Somewhere in the another posting u indirectly admit that You are Punjabi. Would you like to hear same thing that u said in above posting regarding Ismeet ( I pray peace for his soul and dont wanna drag in this controversy but some moron compelled me to bring him in this discussion) and Punjab army. You can say that since Ishmeet won the VOI, armforce from Punjab would be carrying Microphone in the battlefield. That would be insult to the bravery of the people serving in Indian army.
Gurkha's from Nepal don't join the Indian Army because they want to protect India. They do it for one thing and that is MONEY. The money that the Indian Army pays is more than they would get if they joined Nepali Army. In a way, they are mercenaries. The order of preference for the gurkha's are: British Army, Indian Army, and then Nepali Army. From the Highest payer to the Lowest payer.
