As far as Mayank not having his cell phone with him, I'll have to agree with Tanya. He probably doesn't have one. It's clear that Mayank and his mother are not all that well off...and since he's such a practical guy, I'm sure he thought that money would be better spent on other things rather than a cell phone.

I don't doubt that this show has bloopers from time to time, but these two clearly are not.

I thought about the fact that he's not that well off and was sure someone would bring that up. but mobile usage is quite common in India and almost everyone has one. i feel people there have better mobiles than we have here. Having a cell/mobile is not an impractical thing anymore...at least one for common usage and emergencies. i'm not expecting him to have a fancy one.
anyways, i doubt he would get service in the jungle 😆 but maybe in the area where the bus was missed, they could have used it 😉 lits not really a blooper but something just to ponder over...but we want MaYur in the jungle and wanna see their adventures...so best there is no mobile to free them from the Jungle!

@Tina: yea it could be like JTYJN where he didnt wanna keep one. I don't rem if Mayank ever said he didnt want one. but that could be the case too

actually it was night time in the college as well....cause Dia says that Uday never misses his cartoons and stays so late in college...

Mayank never had a cell phone in the first place 😆😆 and he is not the kind to have a mobile phone either! He is the kind of guy who thinks cell phones etc are a major distraction and a waste of money + time, he would not buy one unless he really needs it. Heck! He does not even have a computer with internet in his house, even though internet is a MAJOR source of information and quite handy for some one like him. I hope that Nupz gifts him a cell phone in future when they would have become a couple.

no.......dey did mention dat all des people in college stayed back late nd wer practicing deir own crap..............so it wasnt a major blooper.......bt i wonder time exactly it was though

MAYANK HAS A CELL PHONE..................dnt u remember d days he used 2 talk 2 nupur he didnt hav a landline bt it was a mobile

No, I don't think it was a cell phone. It was a cordless phone and he always called her from his land line number. I do not remember Mayank calling up Nupur from anywhere but his land line

@kavya--remember d first nite wen mayank called her bt noone picked d phone coz she was sleepin.................mayus mom came nd said dat noone else will be awake fr soo long......i really think dat was a cell nyway even if it was 1 dey stopped showin it so dey mite tryin 2 make dat point clear---dat he doesnt hav a phne.....

May be it was his mom's cell phone then (although I cannot recollect him holding a cell phone)! We were never shown Mayank having a cell phone explicitly, were we?
