Good question. The brand that is best for the skin, depends on the age group, budget and skin type of the person. They have good drugstore brands like CoverGirl and Maybelline that are less expensive. A little pricier are the dept store brands like Clinique, Prescriptives, MAC etc. I have used Prescriptives since high school, they hv different formulas for matter or sheer coverage and it goes well with my skin care which is also by the same company. It is not too pore-clogging which is suitable for oily skin and the price isn't bad either. Also gives even coverage on the face. I also used a foundation from Alcone which was kind of expensive, it gave good coverage but it was from a professional store that catered to movie and makeup artists etc in New York and basically if you had the cash you could splash on a jar of it. Hope I have been helpful. 😳 Also, foundation glides on better, when used in conjunction with a daily cleanser and facial scrub regardless of brand because when the skin's dead cells are sloughed off the surface is smoother. A better canvas on which to apply the product.
