i love this song, actually i have never heard this song before until i heard it in kasamh se, and all the other songs they play in there like jiya dhadak. it's so lovely and now the news songs they play on rishi and ganga. they are good too. i love this drama, do u watch it?

Yes, I also heard it first time on KS, but then I found the original movie of this song, and couldnt locate that yesterday. I found it now - it's Krishna Cottage.
I used to watch KS but stopped now and only read the updates! Gees, 5 years of leap, then another six years leap, then 16 years leap - what's all these?! And before all the leaps, they had the latest tech in the setting and then with all the years later, they still have the same tech with them!! Most of them have become very pathetic and unreal... 😊
Here's the youtube link for this song's original:

Thank you, Gauri. This song - I love the entire song!! It's so soothing to listen to... especially when you are stressed out from work at the end of the day... 😃

True. It helps you unwind.
There are also some songs where the lyrics don't mean much but the composition is soothing - songs like doh lafzon ki hai dil ki kahani
ya hai mohhabbat ya hai jawani
I love listening to this song as well. It's soft and soothing even though doesn't mean much.

Nice lyrics, Jojo! Sounds like love me or hate me but you can never be indifferent towards me with a lot of tadap thrown in between. One can feel the singer's pain through the lyrics. Loved the bolded part. Kitnee baar aisa hota hai na ki chaahtey huye bhi hum kuchh keh naheen saktey. That helplessness is beautifully captured in these words.

Exactly Gauri and the beauty of all these ghazals is really the poetry and the expression of his/her feelings by the poet - and when you hear these expressions from
a good singer you feel as if he is conversing with you.

----------

Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hoon
Kehna chahoon bhi to tumse kya kahon

Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hoon
Kehna chahoon bhi to tumse kya kahon

Kisi zabaan mein bhi woh labz hi nahi
Ki jense tum ho kya tumhein mein bata sakun

Main aagar kahoon tumsa haseen
kayanaat mein nahi hai kahin
Tareef yeh bhi to sach hai kuch bhi nahi

Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hoon..

Shokhiyon mein dooobi yeh aadayein
Chehre se jhalki hui hain
Zulf ki ghani ghani ghatayein
Shaan se dhalki hui hain
Lehrata aachal hai jaise badal
Bhaahon mein bhari hai jaise chandni
Roop ki chandni

Main agar kahoon yeh dilkashi
Hai nahi kahin na hogi kabhi
Tareef yeh bhi to sach hai kuch bhi nahi
Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hoon..

Tum hue meherbaan
To hai yeh dastan
hoo Tum hue meherbaan
To hai yeh dastan
Abb tumhara mera ek hai karwaan
tum jahan mein wahan

Main agar kahoon
Humsafar meri
Apsara ho tum ya ho koi pari
Tareef yeh bhi to sach hai kuch bhi nahi

Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hoon..
Kehna chahoon bhi to tumse kya kahon

Kisi zabaan mein woh labz hi nahi
Ki jense tum ho kya tumhein mein bata sakun

Main aagar kahoon ki tumsa haseen
kayanaat mein nahi hai kahin
Tareef yeh bhi to sach hai kuch bhi nahi

Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hoon..

So true - underlined part. Many Hindi songs I listen to because of the composition, and many because of both words and composition. I like sentimental songs a lot, though I try not to listen to them when I am stressed out! 😃 I usually compile a mix of songs to listen in the car that way there will always be some songs in there that will suit my mood at the time... 😉

Seene mein dil hai, dil mein hai dhadkan
Dhadkan mein hai tu hi tu
Ae meri pehli tamanna, ae meri aakhri aarzoo
1-4-3 1-4-3 😉
Seene mein dil hai, dil mein hai dhadkan
Dhadkan mein hai tu hi tu

It pretty much meant dads will be dads will be dads😆 They will never learn. Isn't it so true how dads are the ones who push the kids so hard on the swings!!!
Oh okay, I thought most of them are writing down the lyrics... I didnt want to be caught with a bunch of spelling mistakes, so I decided to google for the lyrics! 😉 I will try to highlight the parts I like the most...
😆😆don't worry. Try writing them out if you remember them. That way your hindi will get better😊
I saw that Ajnu had been giving final warnings to some people who tried to spam here! So I wanted to be on the safe side, just in case, ya know.... The way she is grilling cal-gal, I wanna be in her good books! 😉 😃
🤣🤣 if yoy stop being PC and attempt those question keeping fun and only fun in mind, you would do just fine😆 No need to get scared at all. From the ice cream thread, we know you are an awesome writer! I can't wait to see your take on WA's questions next😆
I agree with you about the sharing and the feel part... It's good that Ajnu thought about this topic... It brings some kind of closeness to the members who participate - more harmony and less fights! 😃
...harmony till we decide to disagree with the meanings one is seeing behind the lyrics😉 Just wait and see her reaction on how I interpreted her current favorite song - Main Agar Kahoon😛😆 I am waiting for her to get her butt here so that I can see what she has to say to that interpretation😉😆

Don't know about others but a bit of nok-jhonk adds spice to the forum. It gives me diabeties when every one is sugary sweet to everyone around them😛😉 I like all the ras life has to offer - be it theekha aur meetha😃
This reminds me of my another favorite song:
Zindageeeee
Kaisi hai paheli hai
kabhi yeh hansaye
kabhi yeh rulaye
see....this is how you spam😉.....😆 j/k - okie. Will get the complete lyrics for the above song and point out my favorite parts with reasons😊

yes, this is my take on these lyrics as well.

ummmm.....I don't think this is what meant here. It could be "it IS the truth...so can't call it just praise" as pointed out by CG in her MOTW.

Yep, this is my take as well....shmoozing at it's best here in this song😆
