FF: Dosti [Part 19 pg. 83] [Aug 6th] - Page 7

"Smile beta" uncle said as he took a picture.

"You" he pointed at me. "This was your idea wasn't it?"

"Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't"

"Watch what happens" he threatened. I rolled my eyes.

Later on that day we went to the park and had lots of fun there. Prem disappeared for a while. I guess he went home. I started to get bored.

"Hey Piya let's go now. I'm bored"

"Yeah same." As soon as she said that someone threw a water balloon at me. I turned to see Prem with a bag full of water balloons.

"That's what you get" he said as he threw another one. Luckily he missed. While Prem concentrated on aiming at me, Piya made a run for it. I started to run as well while he chased me. As he did, he dropped some ballons on the ground which I picked up and threw back at him. After a while it just became a huge water balloon fight and when we ran out we couldn't stop laughing.

"Let's call it a truce" I stuck my hand out while trying to catch my breath from all that running. He shook my hand and accepted. We started heading back to his house. As we were walking, I slipped and fell since the grass was wet. I winced in pain as I tried getting up.

"I think you might've sprained your ankle. Can you walk?"

I almost fell as I tried walking but Prem caught me. "Maybe I should carry you" he suggested.

I tried to protest but he pointed out that it would take us longer to go home and at the end he just picked me up. I felt a shock when he did. I couldn't help but be aware of how close I was to him,

"Heer yaar you're so heavy"

I snapped out of it and gave him an angry look. "Chup! No one told you to carry me"

Prem just rolled his eyes.

Nothing interesting happens anymore. Everything seems so boring and dull now. School's almost over which means prom and graduation are coming up. Fun fun fun. Not really the type of person to go to parties or dances but Piya and Prem made me buy a ticket and since I paid I have to go. As I walked out of class I noticed Prem standing in the hall.

"Hey. Who are you waiting for" I asked. Before he could answer, a girl from my math class, Sanjana, came.

"Hey Prem. Let's go" she said.

. "We have an english project due that we need to work on" Prem explained as Sanjana pulled his arm and dragged him away.

After that day Prem was always with Sanjana and for some reason this bothered me. It's not like he HAD to hang out with me everyday but I started to miss his presence. And the way Sanjana followed him around and was close to him made me feel uncomfortable. It's not like I'm jealous though, am I?

"You're jealous" Nida stated as if reading my thoughts.

"Huh? What are you talkng about?" I asked confused

"Stop pretending like you don't know" said Piya as I drank water from my water bottle. "You like Prem"

I started choking. "Wh-what?"

"You. Like. Prem." she said slowly.

"And why do you say that?"

"It's kind of obvious. Anyone can tell that you're jealous of the fact that Prem's been spending more time with Sanjana then you. And the way you get excited just by hearing his name. Admit it. You like him"

"No I don't" though it sounded like I was trying to convince myself more than her.

"Yes you do"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"No?"

"Yes" I bit my tongue "I mean no."

"Yes you do!" Nida was clearly annoyed with me denying it.

"You should go tell him Heer before someone else takes him"

"Piya's right. You should go tell him before it's too late. And I'm not getting a good feeling about Sanjana. I don't want her to come in between you guys."

"She won't come between us because there's nothing going on between me and Prem. He probably doesn't even feel the same way"

"So you do like him!" Piya exclaimed as I started to blush.

"He does like you. He'd have to be an idiot not to" Piya argued. Somehow this felt weird, having Prem's sister encourage me.

"Yeah well I don't want to be the one to go and tell him. If he likes me than I want him to say it himself" I didn't want to go tell him and have him reject me. It would be too much to bear and it would make things awkward between us. I didn't wan to lose him as a friend.

"That idiot is never going to say anything" complained Piya.

After school I started walking towards Prem's locker like I usually did. When I got there I saw Prem holding hands with Sanjana.

"Hey Heer." He smiled as he noticed me looking at his hand interlocked with Sanjana's. "Heer meet Sanjana, my girl friend"

I felt as though something sharp pierced through me. I just froze. "Heer?" Prem had a worried look on his face after not hearing me say a single word.

Who the h*ll is Sanjana? And why is she here to ruin their lives?? 😔 I'm very upset with you now Ravs...see if Prem had never mentioned her being his girlfriend, I'd just call her some psycho girl who NEEDS to leave Prem alone...but now! *sighs* I'm sorry. But you can still call her that if you want cuz well she needs to leave in order for Prem and Heer to be together right? Does that make you feel better?😊

AS for the rest of the update! 😛 Love Piya and Heer's drawing on his face! 😛 Totally cute! 😃 Aww thank you😊 I LOVE drawing people's faces😃 Of course I do it when they're awake so sometimes it doesn't work out.......

And oooo water balloon fight! 😃 Those are sooo much fun! 😃

Update soon, and get this stupid Sanjana...outta the way! 😛 Or else! 😉😳 Ok😊 I'll try to update soon but I promise Sanjana will be out of the picture. I don't want you to throw stuff at me and affect our dancing jodi😆
