Woah! The letter is explosive dudettes! It seems a little too blunt to be authentic. But honestly I would not be surprised if it is true either. Whatever happened to the so-called "stars" of good old days where script was more important than TRP ratings? Or where professionalism was more important than throwing diva-like attitude? Or where having a vision was more important than gaining infamous popularity? Looks like I am randomly rambling now ... 😃

@Sonia: ROFL, that sure is an interesting letter....I've heard rumors of similar rants by DMG creatives beforehand also......I think all of this should be taken with a pinch of salt......I don't think the creatives can be completely absolved of the absolute s*** that they show in this show just by blaming it on the actors and their ego hassles and tardiness. They can't possibly be the only ensemble cast dealing with this...then how come freakin KEKTA shows also make more sense than them???

If the success had indeed gone to the heads of all the actors, they would all have left the crapfest by now....cuz honestly, when we come down to actual numbers, TRPwise, it is doing terrible! Only the giddy fangirls on IF are keeping it alive.....and it's interesting how the 'creative' is not bitching about Sunaina....is she the only 'non-tantrum' throwing star in there then?? Nothing about Mayank either....and I hardly think Mohnish Behl would act so unprofessional.....I think it is the pathetic production team only that is so mismanaged and they want to blame anything except themselves for that.

I do agree on one major point though: Drashti is DEFINITELY better than Riddhima1 or Riddhima2.....I would've preferred if they'd paired her up with Armaan....I was all for it too....she is pretty, can act well, can dance too! LOL.....Riddhima1's *cough* acting skills....well let's not go there....LOL....and the second one is a grooming nightmare and average actress and uhh....an interesting dancer let's say😆.....Drashti would have been great in the role....but then the freakin character only is so messed up....maybe I should just be glad she's Muskaan instead.....lol.

But *sigh* I so wish Sunaina would leave this show! She's my favorite out of all of them....classy and really sweet!

Anyways, long story short....I'm sure they have some production hassles but I don't think it can all be blamed on the actors.....no one's putting a gun on their heads to shoot for this...and I hardly think their paypackets are that amazing that they'd keep doing it for that.....Cinevistaas is a pretty kadka production house.

^Yep thats exactly what I thought... The creatives are side-stepping from the real issue - the horrible storyline by blaming it on the actors... Whats the meaning of kadka btw??? [:S]... And trp wise, I used to think DMG did well, coz it despite being a Star One was in the top 100... but then came yesterday where MJHT came 17 on the trp chart, despite being against Bidaai 😲 (though in my house thats not an issue coz over here MJHT comes 1 hour after Bidaai)....

Old DMG meaning DMG in its first few months?? Yes, then it did well for a Star One show obviously cuz it HAD A STORYLINE back then!! The numbers had started to slide in Dec. only yaar....it never got as high again....ofcourse there are two sets of AR fans who'll keep fighting over that😆😆😆

Anyways, even then, it has nothing on the popularity of a main-stream show like say a BV or a Bidaai obviously....not that I'm comparing.

MJHT was at 17?? Wowwwww😲....Ok, honestly I didn't really think it would come up that high😕😆...but hey, great! It is definitely the best show on Star One right now in my opinion😉


Yes, just saw the epi😆😆.....Ok, I'm kinda in the middle....don't exactly share Nimmi's opinion or yours totally either😆😆....the epi bored me for the most part....

Samrat was REALLY annoying me with his stupid "I'm such a dude, everyone knows about me' speech on the stage when the ppl were asking him about Gunjan....and honestly....WTF?? What is up with ppl saying, 'tumne humse vaada kiya tha'???😕😕.....Like he'd promised them a bag of gold each or something!😕😆😆

Anyways, coming to the BIG part of today's epi....the one everyone's raving about....ok, honestly, after hearing so much about the song, I'd thought it would be pretty good....but umm, it fell kinda flat for me😕.....I actually enjoyed Gunjan's previous solo performance of "Yeh Zindagi" more than this.....the one where she sings the entire part uptill, 'bas hum dono akele yahaan' or something.....

But in this version, the way they added the new verses of MJHT didn't quite work for me😕.....Either they could have worked on having better instrumentation accompanying it or it could have been sung in a better manner.....dunno....I didn't quite feel it!

That said, there was indeed a moment in b/w that I found touching as Gunjan starts singing but is still scared to come out of the wings, but Samrat keeps encouraging her with a nod and ultimately she manages to come out even though with tears in her eyes....I liked the way they built it up with her gradually working up the nerve to start looking at the audience and then start smiling as well.

Other than that though.....I honestly was not that impressed😕😆

Hmmm acting wise....I'd say he was better than yesterdays' epi for sure....I think my main problem is that I find this whole 'guru' Samrat stuff HIGHLY irritating! And most of his dialogues were centered around, "Oh look, Gunjan my protege, I'll make her sing" blah blah......

He seemed to have a constant agenda....even when he finally notices G in the wings, he smirks to himself for the teeniest second and then launches into that emotional blackmail speech so that she starts to sing....honestly, maybe it's just an issue I have with the character cuz I found that to be manipulative🤢

Anyways, if I try to drown out the super idiotic dialogues, I guess he was good in the way he carried himself today....in general, less cocky than his usual "I know everything cuz I'm Samrat" way.

Btw, I also really liked that moment when Nups turns and waves at Samrat and Uday in the wings.....very cute!


And chemistrywise I prefer Nupur-Samrat cuz they are both lively characters and Nups puts him in his place very well at times😆😆......Mayank-Gunjan put me to sleep honestly🥱.....Arjun-Sanaya do look good together....but as characters, GOD are they boring together or what! They need the Nupurs and Samrats in their lives to jazz things up😆

But I was definitely excited to know about the MaYur dance on monday too! LOL.

I wonder what the trp's for today would be like with the anticipation of 'will G sing or not'....LOL.
