Aamna Shariff will debut with Aloo Chaat, co-produced by Anuj Saxena's Maverick Productions and Mirchi Movies. Directed by Robbie Garewal, the film stars Aamna Shariff, (Kashish of Kahiin To Hoga) opposite Aftab Shivdasani. But the question everyone is asking is this - after having shared a sizzling chemistry with Rajeev Khandelwal in the serial, will she be able to recreate the magic with Aftab? In fact, the Aamna-Rajeev love story, off-screen too, has been as much etched onto viewers' minds as their sizzling on-screen chemistry. The mere mention of it brings a broad smile to Aamna's face, but maintaining her composure she says, "It's going to be a challenge for me and for Rajeev, but that's what life is all about. We were fortunate that Sujal and Kashish worked for us big time. People loved us for our characters in Kahiin To Hoga. In television I have observed that when people fall in love with two characters, they want to see them together." So then? She adds quickly, "But I do not want to give importance to something that does not exist in real life. Rajeev has always been a dear friend and nothing will change that." Now we hear that Aamna and Aftab are trying to create the same magic in Aloo Chaat. Says Aamna, "I would not brag about Aftab's and my chemistry in Aloo Chaat, let our work speak for us. We have put in a lot of hard work and I hope that people like us together as Nikhil and Aamna (my character's name in the film)." But the tongues are already wagging about their off-screen chemistry. "I would not like to comment on that, because earlier also when things were spoken about Rajeev and me, I never commented. My personal life has always been personal. The day there is someone special in my life I will not keep him under wraps." And what does Aftab have to say about his terrific chemistry with Aamna off-screen too? "Off screen? Now that's my personal life and I don't talk about it, but yes, on-screen we have a fabulous chemistry, that will be evident when people watch us in Aloo Chaat." Having worked with Aamna once, would he like to work with her again? In fact, we hear that he has already cast her in his first production?
