Episode 12 Saloni wins Trishla's heart
Nahar gets ready quickly. Trishla sits by saloni and asks her if she has lots of pain. Sal says: aunty I am fine hiding her pain. Nahar asks Sayani to go with her. Sayani and Trishla helps Saloni to get out and get in the car. Saloni is shivering badly. Trishla covers her with shawl. Trishla asks her to accompany them. Sal: aunty you take care of your work. Nahar and sayani are with me. I am so sorry to bother you and ruin this trip. Saloni gets tears in her eyes.
Trishla: No beta you are not bothering me I am worried. I need to make sure you are better. Or else Deepa will think I failed to take care of you.
Saloni: No aunty my mom will never think that way. She respect you so much and I know how much you care for me. Trishla feels ashmed thinking so wrongfully about saloni.
She kisses her forehead and asks Nahar to bring her back safely.Nahar is so happy seeing Trishla showing love and care for Saloni and smiles.Both Nahar and sayani sits by Saloni. Nahar tries to cheer up Saloni by saying crazy jokes.Saloni gives a faint smile. Nahar asks her : are you ok? Sal says: I have so much pain all over my body.
They arrive at Doctor's office. Nahar goes in without waiting in line as Saloni is unable to sit.. Doctor comes out and asks Sal to go lie down in next cabin.
He comes in the cabin and checks out her wounds and cheks her body temprature. He gives saloni shot while Nahar feels sad with pain. Doc. then checks out Nahar's hand. He prescribes medicine and assure Saloni.
Doctor: you will be fine by tomorrow. Trust me. You will have weekness for few days. So go home and rest and make sure to eat and drink lots of fluids and take your medicine.
Nahar: I will make sure she does.
Doctor: young man you take care of your hand as well. Nahar nods his head.
Nahar sayani brings saloni home and give trishla good news. Nahar leaves to get medicines. He comes home and wake up saloni and help her sit up. Trishla brings juice and some snacks.She makes Saloni eat and gives her medicines.
Trishla asks all of them to get ready as they have to go for lunch at friend's place. Nahar says: mom you all go I will stay home if saloni needs some help. Trishla asks Nahar to go and she may join later if saloni is better.
Saloni: aunty you all go I will be fine. I am very tired so I will go to sleep. Besides soni our maid is here. Trishla refuses to go. Nahar unwillingly leaves.
They all have lunch. Worried Nahar barely touches his food. trishla's friend packs lunch for 3-4 people. They come back home.Saloni is restless. Nahar sits by her asking Trishla to have lunch. Saloni says: nahar did not eat anything. Saloni eats little and asks Nahar to have some food and not worry. Saloni then goes to sleep while both sayani and Nahar sits by her side. That night saloni sleeps well.
Next morning she wakes up and sees every one sleeping. She goes and wake Nahar up to thank him and say sorry to make him so much worried. Nahar is happy to see her up and says if you ever said sorry or thank you. I will never talk to you.
Saloni: i won't but I still feel bad I ruined your vacation. Nahar says: No you have not ruined anything. But you must rest now go back to bed. he pushes her back to her room. Saloni smiles.
trishla announces they all have to go out as her friend has arranged a meeting at her place between Nahar's sister sonal and a boy who already liked sonal.
Saloni: aunty you all go I want to rest. trishla agrees. They all leave. All teh ladies help in kitchen shyam arrives with his parents. Sonal and shyam likes each other. They all then have lunch while trishla waits for her friend. Trishla invites them all for dinner. Shyam's parents accept the invitation.
trishla panics because it is already 3 by the time they finish lunch. She calls home Saloni picks up phone. trishla asks saloni how she is and gives her good news. Saloni is so excited.
Trishla: saloni beta make sure soni starts the food and I want poori and sweet ready and wht ever vegetable is there and 2 daals. I will come as fast as I can. I need to pick up few vegetables from market. saloni assures her she will take care of it.
Bored Saloni goes in the kitchen. But maid is missing. Saloni goes outside to look for maid. Then she spots a lady who is selling fresh spinach and other vegetables. she buys few vegetables. Their maid comes back. saloni and maid starts cooking . Saloni finds paneer in the freeze. So she make pakode and so many items. She makes halwa and poori and daals and raita. Saloni is so tired as it is almost 5-30 when trishla gets home panicking to find all the food ready. She puts away vegetables and asks maid to cut salad. She checks on saloni who is sound a sleep. Trishla decides to dress up and asks every one to get ready.
The guests arrive at 7. Shaym's mom suman enters the home and praises: wow the house smells so good. How did you cook so fast? trishla smiles.when they sit down to eat. The food looks and smells so good. Trishla thanks maid. Maid says : Saloni memsaab cooked all the food she just helped cutting vegetables making dough and helping with puris.
Suman asks: who is saloni. trishla says she is Nahar's freind and my freind's daughter.
Suman: I want to meet that young lady who at this age knows how to make such a food. You must make her your bahu. she then jokes: if I had not fixed shyam's rishta I will make her my bahu. she has cooked such a wonderful delicious food. I don't see any excessive oil in it and yet food is so tasty. Nahar blushes and leave table smilingly. He goes in his room thinking about saloni and him together as husband and wife and saloni cooking the food in their kitchen.
Trishla: she was not well as she fell down and was very weak due to injuries. Let me go and check if she is awake. suman accompanies her saying I must meet her.Watching saloni fast a sleep they leave. After guests leave Nahar wakes up saloni asking her to eat and take her medicine and tells her how much her food was apprecited by every one. saloni is happy.
Next day is last day so they all go shopping. saloni buys gift for everyone. She asks trishla to choose 2 best shawls for her mom. Trishla chooses 2 expensive shawls. Saloni buys them
When they get home. Saloni gives every one their present and asks trishla to take one shawl.
Trishla refuses saying she can not accept such expensive gifsas these are for your mom.
Saloni: aunty you are like mom. Plz do not say no or I will cry. trishla accepts the shawl and thanks her. Trishla feels so bad about how she treated a gem like saloni. she says: beta you are just like your mother so talented and so pure hearted yet so simple. I must say deepa has raised one beautiful lady inside and out. sayani gets upset and feels jealous.
sayani asks saloni: Where is Nahar's gift?
Nahar: I don't need a gift. Don't be so formal sayani. You both are with me and saloni is better that is a best gift for me and smiles.
saloni keeps mum. That night saloni waits for sayani to go to sleep. She then takes out a matching scarf and sweater she bought. She knits appliques. She makes SNS.like she puts both SS on both lines of N. she then stich them to the sweater and scarf. It is already 3 am. She tries to sleep hiding sweater and scarf under her blanket. She can't sleep in the excitement. She then wakes up and wakes Nahar after putting scarf around his neck and sweater on his chest.The letters SNS covers Nahar's heart.
Nahar gets up and looks at SNS on the scarf and sweater and asks saloni .
Nahar: who made this? Sal says: i did last night after every one went to sleep. This is a special present I wanted you to have that is why I did not give you anything. This will remind you of our freindship in the years to come when we are separated and if you ever try to forget us.
Nahar with a lump in his throat: Saloni Thank you so much. it is as beautiful as you are. I iwill cherish this for my entire life. This is the best presnet I ever got. But plz don't talk about separation. We will never ever get separated. Our love and friendship will remain forever and ever and you will always stay in my heart. He then taps saloni's face smilingly.
Saloni with smile replies: yes Nahar we always will be best friends and stay in each other's heart.
