Panchi Can't act !!! - Page 4

Frankly, even if Panchi does pitch in a wholehearted performance now, everyone is still going to believe that she is 'fake' because she is the face of an unlikable character right now

But, of course, the backlash would have been much less severe without that bedroom scene!

Personally, I admire Sakshi a lot, although Smriti has hardly ever impressed me! But these two played 'ms two goody shoes' throughout their shows, never once taking such a unanimously unpopular decision (unlike Prachi, who is bashed from the left, right and center!!!!!!!!!!!)! Sakshi was also lucky enough to get a wonderful makeover, while Panchi just looks 10 years older and caked up!

Lots of things influence a performance, and while Panchi is certainly nowhere close to Sakshi or Smriti right now, I believe that with time and diligence, she WILL get there!

Actually now am feeling bad about comparing Panchi with Smriti, Sakshi and all...

Well, actually Sakshi was good in the beginning, she has only became an actor to watch out for after years of experience and after getting the opportunity to portray various shades in her character, including the negative ones. Ditto the rest.

Panchi is not bad at acting, looking at her competitors from her age-group, but she can still improve!!! She is capable of giving power-packed performances as Prachi, she just needs to concentrate a bit more on her dialogue delivery and be more consistent, thats all. Though, after her stint as Prachi, I would like her to portray someone who is extreme opposite of Prachi, perhaps that of a bubbly girl who cannot shut up, or maybe a negative role. If she manages to pull that off well, then I can truly say, that Panchi is an actress to watch out for!!! 😊

Very well kits, lets see. I will be extremely happy if she reaches Sakshi levels of performance in her acting!!! Plus both Sakshi and Panchi are Capricorns!!! Yaa I know that is not important but just felt like mentioning it!!! 😆

About people not appreciating Panchi because Prachi is darn unlikable now, well, I cannot say your wrong over there, but then many people have appreciated Shabbo and Sanjeeda and even Jay even when they were playing negative and unlikable characters at different points of the show... But still I cannot say its the same, as none of their characters, save Ayesha's who was anyways meant to be a vamp got as butchered as Prachi.

Ritu..i agree with you to some extent that panchi isn't very impressive post -leap but she was pretty okay pre-leap!

I wouldn't say Panchi can't act. TO me, she is above average, but not the best.
She can act out plain emotions very well, but when it comes to understatement or portraying several emotions at the same time she fails.
For example, now in the leap, she is supposed to be pining for Milind and faking relationship with Prateek. But she is not able to bring it out very well. The way she is acting with Prateek and Dasguptas making us feel she is really happy with them (which has generated a lot of flak in the forum for Prachi).
