Mushy as i promised 😳 heres the update

part : twenty-three

As everyone froze on their spots Sagar realized Vidya was missing. He called out her name and no reply came. He then started to look for her while everyone got worried. Sagar reached the hallway and saw Vidya from across the other side on the floor unconscious. He quickly ran over to her and dropped to his knees in panic. He put her head on his lap and gave her slight slaps as he called out her name until the other family members arrived.

SM- Sagar beta Vidya ko humhe abhi hospital laykur jana hoga.

Sagar agrees and lifts her up in his strong arms and rushes towards the car. He places her in the back where she lye. The others came in other cars.

Hospital

Now Vidya is lying on the stretcher pushed by the doctors and Sagar who held Vidya's hand really tightly. Others followed along. Finally they reached the operation theatre and Sagar was going to go in along with her but the doctor told him to wait outside.. Sagar took a seat very tensed of what had just happened. Sagar's mom sat beside him and put a supporting hand on his shoulder.

SM-Sub kuch thik hojahay ga.

Sagar sighed and stood up as the other got seated and started to walk back and forth until the doctor came out. Sagar stopped and quickly went up to her.

S- Kya hova doctor Vidya or bacha dono thik toh hein?

Dr.Radha-(looked down sadly) Woh Mr. Singh hum—

S- Hum kya doctor?

Dr.Radha- Iss case mein bohut complication agahay hein.Ek toh labor pain doh week phele hogi or Vidya ke peet ke bul girne ki wajja se we have to do an operation or due to all this we can either save the baby or the mother.

Everyone else stood up from their seats amazingly shocked. Sagar stood completely stunned there as tears emerged his eyes. He sniffed.

Dr.Radha-(hands over papers) Or in papers per we need your signature for agar bache ya maa ko kuch hogaya the hospital won't be responsible for it. Or dosre papers hein jisme appko final kurna hai ke hum kisko bachane ki koshish kurein maa ya bache ko.

As Sagar was holding on to the papers they just slipped out of his hands. Dr. Rahda looked sad too, she bent down and picked up the papers.

DR- Mr. Singh juldi kuray humare pass time nahi hai.

S-Vidya.. Vidya bachaiyeah.(says without even thinking once)

Dr- Thik hai app yeah papers sign kurdijiyeah .(Handed them back along with a pen)

Sagar signed the papers and after that Dr.Radha went back inside. That's when Sagar broke by falling onto his knees and covering his face with both his hands and starts to cry. Everyone else is also sad and lets him cry. Until Sameer walked over in front of him.

Sam- Papa koi baat nahi mein hoon na..

He lifted his head, Sameer wiped his tears Sagar and hugged him.

S- Haan tum hona.

3 hours later

Sagar was back on his seat with Sameer on his lap who had fallen asleep. Everyone waited impatiently outside in the waiting area. Suddenly they hear a baby cry. Everyone gets up in shock. Even Sameer wakes up and gets off Sagar's lap who jumps up in joy. He starts going up to everyone and telling them. " Mein papa bun gaya."

Soon the nurse came out carrying a tiny cute little baby wrapped in a white cloth. She handed the baby to Sagar as everyone huddled around to see it. It looked so adorable just like Vidya and him with its eyes closed and had a little smile on the face.

Nurse-Congrats Mr. Singh appko beta huva hai?

Sagar becomes really happy and cuddles the little thing. He then hands it over to his mother and then on and on everyone gets a turn to hold it. As the others admire the baby suddenly Sagar realizes what Dr. Radha had said. " We can either save the child or the mother." He without anyone's permission goes into the operation theatre where he sees Vidya on the bed with her eyes shut. He gets shocked and again gets really sad.

S- Iska mutlab meri Vidya …(lips tremble)

Dr.Radha- Arre nahi Mr. Singh Vidya is perfectly fine so is your baby boy.

Vidya slowly opens her eyes and sees Sagar right in front of her. They both smile at each other. Sagar quickly goes up to her and holds her hand as he sits a little on the bed.

S- Tumne ajj muchje duniya ki subse buri khushi di hai.

Vidya slightly smiles.

V- (quite tired voice) Kon hai?

S- Humara beta Aditiya.

V- Aditiya??

S- Haan humare bete ka naam… Kyun pasand nahi aya?

V- (smiles) Humne bhi yeahe naam socha tha.

Sagar gets surprised and kisses her on the forehead when SM comes in holding the baby in her arms. Sagar gets up and takes it and brings it to Vidya while she asks how she is feeling. Vidya sits up a little and Sagar hands over the baby to her arms. Vidya looks at it and then kisses it on the forehead and cuddles it.

V- Mera bucha, Aditiya..

S-(smiles) Tumhara ya humara.

V-(laughs) hum dono ka.

Then Sagar sits beside her and they talk about the baby as the others watch and they get into an argument of who the baby looks more alike until the baby begins to cry.

2 days later

After two days Vidya was dismissed to go home with the child. That very day Sagar came to pick them both up but surprisingly no one else did. Vidya wasn't very pleased with this but oh well. As they reached the door which Sagar unlocked. They entered the dark living room. Sagar put his arm around Vidya 's shoulder and she held baby even more tightly.

V- Sub loog kaha hein.???

Sagar smiles when suddenly the lights go on and a balloon pops as everyone shouts "SURPRISE!!!" Vidya got scared for a while and thankfully Sagar had covered the baby's ears before they screamed on top of their lungs. But then Vidya was delighted to be back home with such a warm welcome…
