"gory" seems to be the flavour of current times... but since Nosferatu (1922) steadily grew in showcasing slashing and other kinds of bloody killings more & more graphically (digital proceedings helping a lot)... well, movies have a big competition in video games, so film-makers seem to see the need to top them...

And yes, also women can slash and kill with getting other's blood on their body...

Yes, she co-produced... I think it had become a means to reduce taxes by investment and get a share instead of the demand of a renumeration that the other producers doesn't want to pay.

Nevertheless, that doesn't mean that producing hasn't become a serious artistic investment, too... PC and her PPP is a good example for that .

Watche it yesterday. A Different vibe of film as it is set in 1857, pirates action. PC did a fab job. Film is crisp, to the point, no melodrama. Good 1 time watch if you love female actors doing action.

I have noticed PC is doing some fine jobs in these kind of films, series off late. She has evolved as an Actor & This year she made an Indian Comeback with Varanasi. That will be epic game changer for her.

It's time for bollywood to cast her again.
