Rofl. So the Elephant is back in UP after a long long time. 
People living there will surely relate to it. It's a symbol of Mayawati Party.
Anyways this makes no sense otherwise.
Also the Context that Goenkas (LSG owner) have bought a the Team Manchester Originals in the English 100 Competition. And Elephant actually has a cultural significance for Manchester. So they made a logo like that for Manchester. And for Uniformity they made LSG same too. Next would be Durban Super Giants. 
This is a huge troll material. Some people going too cheap saying , LSG is the first team to make thier captain feature on the Logo.
