I don't think it's RS or DP that get damaged.. And public perception has not been swayed by a few clearly negative PR articles. My colleagues were actually talking, in coffee break chats, how ''some BW walas are out to get them, as they (RS and DP) don't let themselves be manipulated/used by the BW mafia gang''. This, from my colleagues, so probably others feel like that, too.
This slew of articles seems to be a concentrated attack on them for literally anything.As if someone has a vested interest to destroy their careers and public perception.
Farhan is seen much worse, as he is well known for his constant delaying Don 3, jumping from SRK to RS and to HR (there's a lot of insiders saying this is what happenede and now HR denies as Farhan is his best buddy). Farhan has been claiming he's doing other movies and then delayed, going back to acting, but still making claims 'he about to start x, y,z movie'' yet not doing any directing since 2011. They also sold part of Excel, which shows they aren't making profit, so they're desperate for money. Plus this whole public spat, instead of being dealt with privately, raises questions about old rumours of him and his lot being affiliated with gangs. Many comments on X/social media that 'Farhan is ''the face of some of the BW mafia, all out to destroy RS, unless he pays them''.
It looks like certain someones are really bothered that they do well. Especially Ranveer's latest succeess is, seemingly, bothersome.
Imagine saying RS and DP image is hit when Ranveer just started in the biggest Hindi film...lol...and Deepika literally only gets offered films against the biggest Indian stars. Sapne suhane haters ke

Just glad RS exited this one.. Even if he had excelled in the role people would’ve compared him to SRK n demeaned him. Just see how mediocre acting of Akshaye is hyped in Dhurandhar against Ranveer’s truly excellent one.
