Looking at the episodes, it is possible that Vani does not remember her past maybe because of the fire and accident.. If it's true, it could be a shock when she comes to know that Abhira is not her birth mom or that Abhira has another daughter..

It would be quite creative writing if after living in a different place with different name all these years, Mukti's dream school is in Udaipur where Mittals/ Meher is..

So they had Vani tricked the shop keeper to get the speakers ( and interestingly it was not shown as jugaad) and then lying to Ab about it... Acchayi Sacchayi ki chakkar mein aadmi piche reh jaata hai..Maa keliye sach important hai, and mere liye maa...They are setting up the gen leap..

By the way, did they show Mukti's full name yet? Is it Mukti Sharma?

They are all set to apply and decide that's they school, but dint Abhira cross check which city it's in???

It was clearly written in application form that place is “Udaipur” so Abhira is aware of the place. May be she thought, now since her name is changed and also she grew up (with facial features changed) none will recognize her there !
