The trailer killed it now that I think. They revealed too much. Who even puts so much in a trailer now? There was little to no suspense left. Also like dabang..mardaani part 3 suffered due to too much focus on 1 person and everything else taking the back seat.
Apart from some flaws the movie obviously has, one should consider that Mardaani 2 released in 2019 - before Covid (Covid in India started to emerge in Jan 2020). Comparisons should be fair to the changing circumstances.

yes but if we have covid and the change, we also have inflation..it was 6 years ago..based on inflation alone..the numbers should at least be higher
Also to note that mardaani 2 had a budget of 27cr and 3 has a budget of 60
The reviews I have got is that the movie is underwhelming and doesn't matchup to the first two movies. They focused more on making Rani look like female Salman Khan fighting 10 people at a time. Also the script didn't do justice to the sensitive topics.
I don't contest what you write...
It still is a fact that those movies are - predominently - watched OTT because of the lockdowns having changed the audience's viewing behaviour.
Inflation also is a negative as people may easier decide on paying monthly OTT fees instead of spending what is needed to watch the movie in a cinema. There is a huge part of the audience who have lost the urge to 'go to the movies'... they want the movies to come to them.
Also, the interest for women-led movies perceptly got reduced in favour of testosterone-driven movies (even in love stories).
Until now, I've only one feedback - and that isn't really overall positive, either.
She should tell her fav cousin Ayan to direct her next.

I know it is a sad state for cinema and content. There was mid 2010s when things really changed and many content and female driven movies started to do tremendously well..how post pandemic BW fell from that to the most regressive period of the 80s where only larger than life cinema driven my male leads and high testosterone is working
