With 6 fours, Kohli is on 28.

Kristian Clarke to Gill, leg byes, FOUR, too straight from Clarke, brushes Gill's pads and runs away past the keeper - short fine is inside the ring and the ball runs away for four leg-byes

VIRAT KOHLI COMPLETES 28,000 RUNS FOR INDIA!

The former India captain achieves the feat by smashing a full and wide delivery from Ashok down the ground for an easy boundary! Not only does he become only the third batter in the history of the sport to score 28,000 or more international runs after his idol Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara, he is also on the verge of surpassing the latter to become the second-highest run-scorer across formats ever! Big over for Team India with 16 coming off it, with Gill smashing the ball over long on for a maximum in the first delivery. IND 76/1 after 13; target: 301

India are off to a superb start. Rohit got off to a good start but perished within the powerplay. Kohli has come out with intent and that has robbed off on Gill as well. The pair have added a 70+ stand in quick time. Ominous signs for this inexperienced New Zealand attack.
