He is vacationing with his family....

I think he was just tired of the incessant negative PR against him and how they were twisting every single thing he says or doesn't say....It's better that he does not give any new material to his haters....So sad though considering how much he loves being out there....:(

He may have took an advice by someone who really appreciates his talent and flamboyance (and his genuine warm heart)...

There is no doubt about the quality of Ranveer's performance to lift up this movie (which is the most important), so why even need to boast much about the movie... just let it make the numbers...

Yes, he can be that (a chameleon)... I hope that more - genuinely hand made art-work - is done on him... he deserves it (imo) (doing that with digital tools isn't always something special, I feel, as it doesn't need much creative 'investement').

I'm slightly annoyed he's not even attempting to promote his own film. Like, do your bit Ranveer .

Other actors are doing what they can. Even Gaurav Gera is doing interviews. Promotion matters nowadays. Ranveer not putting himself out there can be misconstrued ( hope it's not true ) that he's not interested or not proud of the movie. This movie gave him what was elusive for him for a long time - success and revival of his super stardom.

Again, that's just my own POV. I'm not a Ranveer fan myself ( and never tried to hide that ) so my opinion will ofcourse differ from that of his fans. And that's OK.

Hope he'll do his due diligence during Part 2 release .

I think Ranveer is letting the film speak for itself. He was promoting it per the promotional strategy- doing whatever is expected from the lead. He was at every film related event (though those were handful to begin with).

Now he’s just letting his work and movie speak. He doesn’t need to promote it I feel during its 4th week lol.

Atp, he doesn't need to aggressively promote the film.. that time has passed and the film is already doing so well by virtue of sheer craft and it bring a literal masterpiece of Indian cinema. Infact, aggressive promotion would be counter productive atp.

Little things like posting one two posts daily on socials or even little video clips from his side would make the viewers feel more connected to him as ML. Make them feel his excitement. I find it weird how silent he is when he's such an out there personality.

True. That I agree with. Ranveer IS being weirdly silent about it- and that’s not his usual style lol.

Even I wonder why. Maybe the initial way the whole Bollywood seemed to be against the movie? The original elitist reviews that were against it? Maybe they played a part in how he is behaving. But soaking it in and trying to understand how he’s not as much an insider even after more than a decade here? Not sure what’s going on.
