Arjun Rawte is an enigma and author dear made sure to write a best character arc for him. Even the of writers of the serial couldn't portray his journey properly. One person can change your entire life for good or worse. Arjun Rawte has 2 phases in his life. The handsome gushing hard core lover Arjun Rawte died that day when his wife was brutally murdered infront of him and left the world. The present Arjun Rawte is a man whose heart stoned to death, he built high strong walls around himself to hide his vulnerable side. He is broken, cold hearted, reckless, wounded lion who is waiting for his prey sikander. His only aim which making him to survive is to bring justice to his wife. He was just dragging the life yet he never compromised with ethics rules and morals. He never showed his caring side to anyone in fear of attachment and the pain he will suffer due to consequences of it. But Life never goes as it is planned, Almighty always stores best plans for us. Riya mukherjee crash landed into his life like a storm but ended becoming his ultimate peace whose presence can calm him even at the brink of his death. That one person crushed all his walls, made home in his heart and brain. The only person who can bring smile on his face with her questions. The more he resist these feelings the more he is pulling towards her.

From not caring about anyone to sticking to the team, Caring about them and made sure they all are safe. Above everything Riya never pitied him, for her he is the best cop in the world, a man with dignity, honesty, morals, excellent sharp brain who can solve any case. The most beautiful thing here is, when he realised that he is falling for her in his last moments before his unconscious state, he surged towards her instead of resisting it. I know he is in drugged state may be he will forget everything after treatment but his subconscious self already accepted Riya as his person.
