?"You're under arrest!" ?
All of them froze after hearing the stern voice of someone behind them. Yudi turned ?around and couldn't see anything except for a dark shadow, "Who are you?" ?
The man stepped out in the dim light, "Oh Yudi you don't know me? I'm John ?Abraham." ?
Seeing John Yudi didn't know what to do. He knew he could always take his gun out and ?shoot back but there was something inside him which prevented him from doing so. What ?was so familiar about this John that he couldn't think of attacking him? Whatever it was ?he had to overcome it before everything was over. ?
?"Don't even think about it." John warned Yudi as he pointed the gun towards him. His ?instinct told him that Yudi was thinking of getting the gun out and putting it against him ?but he wasn't going to let that happen. Not after when he got this far to the truth. "No ?point in trying to escape now Cadet Yudi as your game is over." ?
?"I don't understand what you're saying because I'm not playing no game." ?
?"Oh really? Let me rephrase what you said earlier," John took out his mobile and ?browsed into the recording files and then pressed play, 'Half of your work has been done ?and now the remaining will be done tonight. You've had faith in me before and till now ?I've been loyal to you so I'll conitune till the end.' ?
Yudi smirked, "that could mean anything as far as I know so why don't you just let me ?go?" ?
?"Wait where you are," John commanded and then began walking towards him with the ?gun still pointed at him. "I've finally found the leak in the pipe and believe me I'm ?surprised alright. Out of all the people it had to be you, you really…" he couldn't finish ?because somebody came and kicked the gun out his hand which made him fall towards ?the side. ?
?"It was about time you turned up." Yudi gleamed as he saw Naina snatching the gun ?away from John and then taking hold of Yudi. "We better get out of here before John ?catches us again." ?
?"You're right," Naina and Yudi quickly rushed out of there. John just missed them by a ?fraction of a second but he did see Naina there also. She was also involved. Now he had ?to get to the bottom of this so he stood up and followed them two out of the academy and ?into the jungle. It was pitch dark with only the moonlight as a street lamp but he was well ?trained enough to see through that too. ?
Naina and Yudi realized they were being followed so they hid behind some bushes and ?peeked through the holes to see what John was doing. Even they couldn't see clearly but ?then what she saw was highly surprising for her. ?
He stood underneath a tree which had a small light bulb hung to it and there he began ?scraping and scratching his face as if something was itching him. Slowly parts of his skin ?were peeling off and apparently another piece of skin was underneath it. ?
?"I don't believe it? I knew something was familiar about the way he behaved and the gun ?shooting had given it away too but I just wasn't sure whether it was true or not." Naina ?remarked as she contined gazing at John. ?
Yudi was however confused as he didn't have access to the view, "what are you saying ?Naina? Who was familiar and what weren't you sure of?" ?
?"Come here and see for yourself." She pulled Yudi towards the hole she was looking at ?and Yudi too had the same reaction as Naina. ?
?"I thought it was him. Now what do we do Naina?" ?
?"Well I'm sure wherever Major Nair is he'll definitely go to meet him so we'll follow ?him and get Major Nair back here." Naina began moving a bit from that postion to see if ?they would be able to escape without being caught. Naina had been trying to track down ?where Nair was from the past few days but there was no luck. When she found out that ?R2 was also going to be away from the academy she found something fishy somewhere ?and just then John's appearance took place so now everything was falling into piece. ??"Come on Yudi," she whispered, "he's leaving, we better go behind him or we'll loose ?him." ?
Both of them began trekking behind him making sure he didn't see them but it was really ?dark and they couldn't see where they were going. Once or twice Yudi did slip and nearly ?made a loud ruffling noise but Naina quickly covered up for him and took him to the side ?where he won't be able to see them. ?
He knew someone was behind him as he heard the ruffling. At first he did disgard it ?thinking it perhaps was an animal but then he heard some silent shrieks which told him it ?wasn't any animal but it was a person. He had to be careful as whoever was following ?him knew where he was going. ?
Naina and Yudi waited for him to go far a few feet before they began their quest again. ?Naina was determined to find Nair and she was ready to go to any limits. He was ?precious for her plan so she needed him. That didn't mean she liked him but it said 'waqt ?aane per gade ko bhi baap banana parta hai.' ?
It took some time before all of them reached a road out of the jungle. Now he knew that ?he was being followed so he decided to change the route and divert them towards another ?place whilst he took his route. He began walking cautiously making sure with the corner ?of his eye that they were following him. Then he increased his pace to jogging and soon it ?turned into sprinting and before he knew it he was far away from the two. ?
At first both of them were left aghast as to where he disappeared to but then Naina got an ?idea and she took the jungle route again not waiting for Yudi to catch up. He was a slow ?coach as it was and now if she did wait for him she will certainly loose him. "I knew that ?he'll figure out we're on his tail." She muttered to herself whilst running up the hill. Yudi ?did manage to follow her but was a few feet away. The long hill was making him slow ?down and he was getting out of breath. ?
Just before he escaped she managed to roll down the hill from the otherside and she ?caught him running towards a hidden shack in the jungle. The place was very well ?camouflaged in the jungle around and plus there were a lot of cable wire posts which to ?any normal person would seem like a powerstation. But Naina could see through the ?obvious and she knew that this place was certainly where Nair was and he had kept him ?here for a reason. Whatever that reason was she would find out later but before that she ?had to figure out a way to get inside. ?
There was very dim light lit inside the shack and obviously there was no light outside. As ?he got closer the shack became more visible and the jungle somehow managed to go back ?almost as if it was an illusion. Now before anyone found out about Nair he had to take ?him somewhere else. He needed more days for Nair to still stay captured. As it was he ?was a nuisance anyways and he was sure that the work could also be done without him ?around to bug him. He barged in through the door and stood there with his hands on his ?hips facing a man tied down to a chair blindfolded. There was no way he was going to let ?him know it was him who captured him otherwise everything would be finished. He ?walked up towards Nair and then bent down near his ear, "I'm sure you're enjoying ?you're stay here in this five star accommodation but don't worry you'll soon be ?transferred to an even better place." His voice was camouflaged into John's so there was ?no way of finding out it was him – R2. ?
?"Naina! Naina!" Yudi began saying her name out loud as he caught up with her; she ?quickly shunned him and took him away into the hiding. "I'm sorry but what are you ?doing here?" ?
?"He's gone inside and I'm sure Major Nair is here. Now I'm just trying to figure out a ?way to go inside." ?
R2 came out and called his four guards which stood outside and instructed them about ?something. Then he disappeared back inside. Naina saw that and then her attention fell ?onto the cable wires which gave her an idea. Cable wires mean't electricity and jungle ?mean't wood equal to fire. She got up immediately and began turning towards a group of ?cars she saw parked near the back. Yudi followed like a puppy completely unaware of her ?intentions. ?
?"Now what are you doing?" ?
?"Getting Major Nair out." She reached one of the cars and checked if it was open but it ?wasn't so she shifted to the other one making sure no one saw them. Luckily the car was ?open and to her luck the key was also left inside. She sat inside and waited for Yudi to ?join her. She raced the accelator and first she reversed it and then she stepped on it and ?drove staright in the direction of a post. Yudi became worried as to what she was ?planning and tried to warn her about it but she was in no mood to listen as she knew ?exactly what she was doing. ?
The car did crash into the post but it wasn't strong enough so she revved up the engine ?again and reversed the car. Then she charged against the post again. It took her four to ?five tries before the post actually did topple down against other posts causing a short ?circuit and as trees and bushes were around it caught on fire. It created a big hazard and ?commotion. There were flames and smoke all over the place. ?
The four guards became alert as they returned back from where R2 had sent them and ?then they began getting water from inside and putting out the fire. R2 looked from out of ?the window and saw the fire and became alarmed. Then his gaze fell on the jeep against ?the toppled post and immediately realized that someone had done it on purpose. Now he ?had to run away with Nair as soon as possible. ?
He rushed over to the chair Nair was tied down to and began fiddling with his ropes and ?then he heard some footsteps and before he could react he got puched in the face which ?made him fall back on the floor. "You know, you have to stop doing that." He moaned as ?he touched his sore jaw. ?
?"I could say the same about you. Tell me one thing, are you ashamed of yourself so much ?that you keep changing your appearance?" she derided as she came forward to where he ?sat on the floor. ?
He rolled his tongue in his cheek and chuckled, "my dear you'll never understand the ?beauty of it. Jo maza dusro ko bewacoof banana me hai wo or kahi nahi. Me apna matlab ?nikaal neke liya karta and I make sure whoever comes in my way is iradicated." ?
?"I've come here to take Major Nair and no one can stop me." She challenged him. ?
?"Let's see about that." R2 pushed Naina back with both his feet and then he jumped up ?ready to face her. She stood up too and then pouted with anger. This was going to give ?her so much pleasure as it was something she wanted to do since she had found out R2 ?was R2. ?
Both of them stared at each other for a while and then Naina barged into him giving him ?a hard blow into the stomach and then swiping her leg on the floor to send him on the ?ground. Once he laid there she stood up, rubbed her hands and then went to open Nair's ?hands but midway R2 came and grabbed her by the waist and pulled her away and threw ?her aggressively against the wall. She cried out in pain but suppressed it whilst turning ?around and kicking him in the shin. That hurt but he also suppressed it and twisted her ?hand behind her. "It didn't have to be like this you know because I just love playing dirty ?with women." He smacked his lips followed by his scoffs. ?
She felt disgusted by his remark so she elbowed him in the ribs which loosened the grip ?on her. Then she grabbed his arm and flipped him over his shoulder and smack on the ?ground. Then she sat down on top of him, "I also love playing dirty with naughty men ?like you but only to give them the punishtment they deserve." ?
All of sudden he pulled her down towards him and gave her a fierce and forceful kiss on ?the lips. She stuggled but he wasn't ready to let go. Then she bit his lip really deep ?making him release her at once. Then before getting up she gave him a tight slap and a ?couple of kicks in his hip. To her surprise instead of moaning and groaning in pain he ?was laughing. She got even more vexed and continued kicking him all over the place. ?
?"Are Naina, Naina stop you're killing me here." He rolled over floor trying to control his ?laughter but it was impossible. ?
?"That's what I want, to kill you and then…" ?
?"Itna zulm bhi mat kar eh jaaneman," he sat up and grabbed her hand, "teree yeh kaatil ?aadein hee kaafi hai is naacheez kee jaan nikaal n eke liye." ?
She pushed him away indignantly and then attempted to get up but instantly fell back ?down as he pulled her foot. She tried to move forward but he kept dragging her back ?towards him. Then she had enough so she turned around, sat half way and fished the gun ?out of her boot. "Now I'm not joking, I'll not hesitate to pull the trigger and I'm sure ?you're well aware of it." She digged the gun onto his temple. ?
R2 let go of her foot and put his hands up in the air, "okay sweetheart you win." He got ?her off guard and twisted her hand and managed to get the gun away from her, "you ?might be good honey but I'm the best." ?
?"Put your gun down." Yudi ordered as shoving a gun on the back of R2's head. ?
He was surprised so he did put the gun down and then Naina took the gun and went over ?to Nair finally being able to release him of the restrains. She heard him stir which pleased ?her as he was coming back to life again. When she removed the blindfold he shut his eyes ?tight to absorb the faint light and then he was stunned to see Naina there. ?
?"Cadet Singh what are you doing here." ?
?"Prooving a point." She picked him up and then he began rubbing his wrists as they ahd ?been rough. For ten to twelves days he had them tied up. Then his gaze fell on R2 on the ?ground with a gun on his head which perplexed him even more. "Major Nair I told you ?that I'll do what you want if you'll do what I want so by saving your life today I think I ?proved my loyalty to you." ?
?"Why are you here?" he pointed towards R2. ?
?"I was here to make a difference but I guess people are just not ready." R2 screwed his ?lips to show his annoyance but Yudi pressed the gun hard which made him stop.?
Naina glared at R2 and then she went over him and was about to punch him when she felt ?a gun on her spine. ?
?"Let him go you *****" ?
Who was this new person now? Naina moved away from R2 with the gun still behind her ?and then when she turned around she saw someone whom she didn't recognize. R2 was ?pleased as he stood up taking the gun away from R2 and then he made all three, Nair, ?Yudi and Naina stand together in a line. ?
?"Now this is a scene to see isn't it, Major?" ?
?"Sonia, what are you doing?" Nair was not pleased to see her side with R2. ?
?"I'm doing what is right. I won't let any of you harm R2." ?
?"Why are we fighting amongst ourselves when we all can sort this out without all this?" ?Naina suggested as she saw no point in this. ?
?"At last we have someone with the brain here." R2 ridiculed her, "there are many ways to ?sort out this," he went near her and moved a trail of her hair from her face with the nip of ?the gun, "but today I'd rather do it the other way. You don't know how much I've ?worked to get here and I'l lbe damned if I let myself be a goat for sacrifice." Then he ?turned to Major Nair, "you think I don't know what you and Major Bharghav have ?planned for me? If he can keep tabs on me then I can also keep my tabs on him, am I ?right Sonia?" she smiled and stood next to him. "I thought of getting you out of the way ?first so then Bharghav would be one man short. Then I'll be able to handle him the way I ?wanted it but miss smarty pants here," he growled at Naina, "foiled everything. Don't ?worry, I still get the upperhand here and now to think of it if I want I can kill all of you ?right here and now." ?
?"No! Please don't kill me." Yudi began protesting, "I didn't even want to get involved in ?this whole mess but these guys just forced me into it." He went near Sonia and began ?going closer to her. ?
?"Stand back, I'm warning you." She tried to push him back but he didn't budge and kept ?protesteing to her that he didn't want to die and to let him go. She kept going back and ?stuggled with him when a shot was fired and both of them remained motionless. ?
R2 gulped becoming nervous from what happened. Naina and Major Nair were just ?expressionless and Sonia and Yudi both had their mouths half wide in aghast. No body ?knew what happened until Yudi slumped down on the ground first on his knees and then ?he fell face first onto the floor with eyes wide open. ?
?"What the hell did you do? You weren't supposed to actually kill him." R2 scowled down ?Sonia's throat as he brushed his fingers through his hair out of nervousness. This was not ?supposed to happen and now they all were in trouble. ?
?"I didn't shoot him, I didn't shoot." She began mumbling. ?
?"Just shut up, shut up!" R2 was too restless and completely angry with her. ?
?"Why don't you believe me that I didn't shoot him? Please R2 I didn't pull the trigger I ?didnt shoot him god damn it!" she pulled R2's collar in order to get his attention but he ?turned his face away from her. The evidence was in front of him. She had the gun and ?Yudi was dead and no one else in the room held a weapon. ?
?"Oh just stop it! What will we tell that Bharghav when he finds out? We can't let him ?find out. No we can't." he got excited and began rummaging uneccesary things around ?the hut. ?
?"You got yourself into trouble you fool." Nair sniggered, "now Major Bharghav will love ?to know about his new innovation in his plan and then I guess you know what will ?follow." ?
?"Don't be so confident Major Nair because you're equally involved in this." R2 turned ?towards Nair. ?
Nair in return just folded his arms in front of R2 and smiled, "let's see we have a dead ?body and a person with the gun and her boyfriend helping in the crime. I don't see my ?involvement anywhere near." ?
Just then R2 flipped Sonia's hand with the gun and the gun flew towards Nair and he ?caught it. "Now it has your finger prints on it too so that makes you the murderer." ?
?"You……" Nair attempted to grab R2 but Naina intervened and held both the men back. ??"Instead of fighting amongst ourselves we all have to solve this together as a team. Now ?that we all are involved in this we stick together for it." ?
Both the men walked away from each other whilst Sonia still kept pleading in her ?defence that she didn't shoot him. "R2 I know you believe that I didn't shoot him because ?the gun you gave me had no bullets, see." She opened up the refill of the gun to show ?everyone it was blank but to her horror it was fully loaded with one bullet missing. "No, ?this can't be. You had given me an empty gun then how…" she fell down on her knees ?completely numb from the incident. She couldn't have killed him. ?
R2 bent down next to her and cupped her face in his plams, "now there's no point in ?ruminating about how it happened. I know you didn't do it but no one else will so we'll ?have to tackle this as if you did commit the crime." Then he took her head and leaned it ?against his shoulder. He could sense how Naina's ears were burning with jealousy and he ?enjoyed it. He had always loved getting atteion from women and here two of them were ?giving him it together. ?
?"Enough of this, first thing we've got to do is take care of this dead body and then we've ?all got to go our separate ways and make sure all of us have the same story to tell ?Bharghav." Nair came right at R2 and demanded him. ?
?"Why would Bharghav find out anyways and even if he does then how does Yudi's death ?affect him?" Naina for some reason was curious as she only knew half of the truth behind ?Yudi's involvement. ?
At first Nair gave her the sspicious look and thought whether he should tell her the truth ?but then again no one could be trusted. Just like he had never trusted R2 and till date he ?was correct. He ended up in a remote place tied to a chair because of him. "Yudi was one ?of the helpers within the KMA and he was his soul informer of our darling R2 here so ?obviously when he receives no information about him he'll become curious as to what ?happened and then the death truth will be out and slowly Bharghav will crush all of our ?necks." ?
?"You're highly dramatic major. I'm sure once we take care of Yudi we'l lthink of a way ?to deal with Bharghav but right now let's do one thing at a time." ?
All of them agreed and carried Yudi's body out of the shack and into one of the jeeps. ?Then R2 sat at the driver's seat and Naina was going for the passenger seat but Sonia beat ?her to it and made a face at each other. Nair and Naina sat at the back and all of them ?drove off into the deep jungle in the darkness of the night. They were going to find a ?suitable place to dump the body and then were going to find a remote place in which they ?can hide for the night and in the morning will take care of Bharghav. None of them were ?going to favour either. All four of them had different thoughts, Naina thought, 'just wait ?and watch you guys how I trap all of you in this conspiracy. Just like, you had done to my ?brother and then Captain Rajveer. Nair thought, 'you guys really think you'll be able to ?escape Bharghav then you're wrong because he already knows about this and tomorrow ?morning would be your last day." Sonia thought, 'I'm glad R2 still believes in me and ?I'm sure whatever happens he'll certainly save me from all this. Just wait till morning and ?both you Major Nair and Naina will not see another day.' And last of all R2 thought, 'all ?you loosers are never going to go as far as I'm going to get. I've already got my back up ?plan lined up so my neck will be saved but all you…well its just fate isn't it? Now if ?Bharghav does ask me what happened then I'll simply say it's call 'M for Murder''. ?
