But Ranveer is more of a Social Media influencer at this time than a true blue ground level star.

What I wonder is in which way the story gets accepted which has nothing to do with what was at the core of Animal (a father-son conflict which the son couldn't resolve, not even through violence). I don't know how much people are aware that Dhurandhar's story is based on an inter-Pakistani conflict which - actually - had nothing to do with India as such. Ranveer's character is an invention (and not based on a certain military person awarded posthum but much more on the real person behind the character's name played in the movie by Madhavan although this man wasn't involved in the violent conflict which took place in Karachi's underworld vs Pakistan's police).

The extreme violence in Animal was an invention of Vanga, the extreme violence in Dhurandhar was a fact in the conflict that historically existed and Arjun playing the alleged successor of Osama Bin Laden was feared for his deeds. So I don't have to watch both movies to know that the violence displayed in the movies definitely has a different basis (and Vanga's openly revealed basis before even shooting the movie, I despise).

This will be a surprise flop. It had everything going for it. Also Tere Ishq Mein is going to take some audiences away as the film is a huge hit.

at worst it will open with 20cr, Still hope it works, My guys Arjun, Akshaye and Baba deserves success
