Although his garam Dharam personality was more well known I have always preferred his mellower roles. His comic timing was stellar in Chupke Chupke. He played the sensitive and supportive love interest so well in Anupama. And his portrayal of an idealistic young man in Satyakam stands the test of time. The sincerity he brings to that role remains unmatched. His 60s movies are way better than his later movies imo.

This thread should be made GA. We lost a movie icon. He deserves to be remembered with love and pride.

A global legend is lost today. He was such a good person who showered love and only love not only on India but also pak and people of pak. All his fans in pak are very sad today and in his memory this video of his has resurfaced where he spoke so fondly about Pak. He did not have hatred towards anyone or any country..only love and love.
