Just saw it.A movie that works thanks to the marvelous performances from both the lead actors.The romance in the film is a slow burn with several poignant moments that stay with you and one feels the pain of a lover who is obsessed with this girl who has no interest in him!

The film takes off in Ladakh and the initial portions do not really grip you. It is after the story moves into the flashback zone there is some momentum in the narrative.Director Aanand L Rai beautifully develops the one sided love!

However the story falters a bit post interval because the entire part where Dhanush has to appear for UPSC is totally unconvincing. It takes away the fizz from the story .Thankfully there is an interesting twist later when Kirti reveals the truth to Dhanush!

The climax is a mixed bag .The entire episode in the maternity ward is quite emotional but the ending does not really satisfy you totally. It appears quite unconvincing.The hard hitting impact is missing here.

Dhanush is superlative and delivers a performance of lifetime .He conveys so much through his eyes .His pain and anguish come across so effectively.

Kirti Sanon delivers the best act of her career.Handling this complex character like a pro ,she shines all through .One of the best performances of 2025.Also she looks drop dead gorgeous.

Overall the film could have been better but still remains watchable thanks to the terrific performances!
