Absolutely correct... it's THEY who call him "King" - the media have started it, the fans have followed suit...and now, it has become a 'label' ... like (the stupid) "Bollywood" for Hindi Mainstream Cinema, like other labels for SRK (or for other celebrities - around the world)... like 'labels' given to persons in general...

ShahRukh himself isn't a king... but if one knows him one would like that kings would have such a behaviour and mindset... his name has the (Persian) meaning of "face of a king" or "royal face" but it's the attitude that counts.

To me, he's not (and never will be) "King Khan"... and not even SRK (what I only use here)... he is what he is...
