jeeva: "hey Eknath, How about the pitch so far. any side with advantage?" There's been uneven bounce and some sideways movement. Spin too. But there have been many instances of true bounce too

Siddharth: "Will Rabada play the next test?" Think that'll depend on his recovery from the rib injury he's picked up

GOP: "This is a challenging series for not just the Proteas but also the Indian team as they are trying to find the right balance after last year's 0-3 loss against the Kiwis followed by some high profile retirements!"

Rohit: Strange XI from India, but happy for Washi... a proper Test batsman and can actually offer a lot with both bat and ball

GOP: "I recall we had interesting pitches the last time SA toured India. There was a good percentage of wickets taken by Indian pacers if I am not wrong (Shami/Umesh Yadav et al), but the pitches helped spinners and Indian batters scored runs too. Why can't we try to prepare pitches with that template? That would be a well balanced pitch IMO! What do you think?" Think that was in 2019. Good pitches yes
