who said?? I see them every day here.. govt employees dress too formal.. of course most of them are oldies.. but women who are in 20-50s are very well dressed in suits wearing heals.. I envy seeing them maintain their style. They invest a lot of time and money for hair and skin products.
I'm not saying everyone. But it's well known the expectations on Japanese women are harsh. Since it seems you live in Japan so you'll know well of the expectation they have of women. Heels and makeup, which later turned into protest to try to make it less stern. You'll known they don't have seperate trains for progressive nature. You definitely can see the good side but I hope you can accept the bad side.
