Ashish: "We may get 270 now. Will it be fighting total/a par score? Or will it depends on how head will bat?"

17:55 Local Time, 07:25 GMT, 12:55 IST: India finish on 264/9, which seems like a competitive total. Inserted to bat, batting was tough in the powerplay. The Australian pacers, just like the 1st ODI, were impeccable.
A decent recovery for India after being in early trouble by Bartlett, who got Gill and Kohli early. Rohit was very scratch. Rohit had a dreadful start but before finding some timing. He made 73 off 97.
Harshit rana ko as a batter liya hai ya as a bowler?
Our middle order collapsed. Otherwise score would have been somewhere near 290.
Only axar ani harshit played well (in middle order).
Virat 0😢
Rohit ani shreyas 👍👍
All the best team India for the second innings. 👍
17:55 Local Time, 07:25 GMT, 12:55 IST: India finish on 264/9, which seems like a competitive total. Inserted to bat, batting was tough in the powerplay. The Australian pacers, just like the 1st ODI, were impeccable. It was Bartlett who provided the early breakthroughs for the hosts as he nipped out Gill and Kohli in the same over. Hazlewood bowled brilliantly but was unlucky not to get a wicket. Rohit and Shreyas Iyer weathered that storm and forged a century partnership and batting seemed to get better, especially with the introduction of spin. Marsh once again turned to pace and Starc removed Rohit to break that threatening stand. India lost both their set batters (half-centurions) in quick succession as Zampa accounted for Iyer. The wristspinner picked four wickets, which included the scalps of Axar and NKR in the same over. At 226/8, it looked like India would get bundled out quickly but Harshit Rana and Arshdeep added 37 crucial runs for the ninth wicket. There was seam movement throughout the innings. Can the Indian pacers be as effective as their counterparts? Or will batting get easier under lights?
