There was this show Is ishq ka rab rakha on star plus Which was remake of iccha nodee from which rishta gen 3 was lightly copied. Yeh rishta had akshu as elder sister so as big sister responsibility she fulfilled arohi whims and fancies till a certain time but in is ishq ka rab rakha the elder sister was mean while the younger was sacrificing. So Maira can be the the mean sister in gen 5 despite being elder while the next baby girl of Abhira Armaan can be the sacrificing and morally right types if they want to make her the next female lead.

Haan Somewhere I still feel they will give another girl kid to abhira. All the protagonist of yeh rishta had two living kids from OG Akshara to Akshu so Abhira will not be left behind. As you rightly mentioned Maira might be bio kid of Abhira in all sense but she was nurtured in Ruhi kokh but this new baby girl will be of Abhira in every sense and that will be major bone of contention for Maira.

Regarding Yuvraaj I have noticed that both in show storyline and by the channel they are emphasising more on Yuvraj being the Ravan in Abhimaan story. Ravan target was Sita ji and here too in yeh rishta Yuvraj will attack Abhira through one way or other . Don't think secondary characters like madhav or kiara will have much to do. Madhav or Maira can be collateral damage. Their was this theory on Abhira being character assassinated due to her involvement with Yuvraj that can also happen .
