I've seen the Kannada version Puttakkana Makkal. There's a wonderful love story, good comedy and strong well-written female characters and each of the supporting cast have their own arc. It depends on the chemistry between the leads. There's even a dubbed Hindi version of the Kannada serial called Padma ki betiyan on Zee.

Sheezan and Amandeep have currently worked together in the same PH with this show and other show currently eing uploaded online - Tu Aashki Hai as Noor and Arjan. They do have chemistry so far...

Sheezan as Arjan Walia is parallel and negative lead there.

I've seen a few episodes of Tu Aashki hai.Stopped watching it since it seems to follow the production house's formula for infidelity and triangle in a marriage.
