Okay.. I have a slightly different opinion about this episode.

So Shivansh needed this conversation with Sonalika. We legit don’t know the actual depth of their relationship and today we got to know that Shiv proposed to Sona and maybe would’ve loved her(not the true love kinds but as a partner). And it’s been 5 years.
If Roopam would’ve still played Sona, maybe we would’ve even sympathised with her. She legit got cheated on and we cannot deny that.

And with this conversation Shiv will get to have a closure, like he might’ve liked Sona in the past but now what he feels for Prarthana is entirely different. It is more potent, untameable and raw. And Namik conveyed all that through his mannerisms. He’s changed after Prarthana.
And whatever Tanya said makes sense too. Though she did try to uplift Sonalika, she also showed that she only cares about her bhai and his happiness and she understood that her bhai’s happiness is with Prats coz her love and care are genuine. Albeit a lost cause she still urges Sona to love her bhai the same way Prats does.

So in my opinion it’s not a very bad episode. Ha it seemed like a filler but we did end up getting a lot of perspective too.

Interesting, Need to watch the episode probably.

And Shivansh? He’s no victim. Not of abandonment issues, not of trust issues, not of any fear… nothing. He’s the culprit. He saw his future with Sona, proposed to her and would have happily married her.. if he hadn’t met his mom..

This is one of the many reasons for my outburst today.. See Nagpal is nowhere near as “skilled” as he thinks he is. Who on earth asked him to suddenly give us Shiv's detailed history with Sona? Why hand so much relevance to her character and their so-called love story when the show is in its final stretch? Why ruin Shivansh, butcher him beyond repair, all in the name of “closure”?! Absolute nonsense!

Let’s humor this for a second. Say he did propose. Then everything we've seen of him since—his inability to trust, to connect, to love Prarthana fully even when he’s breaking apart inside—is pure performative nonsense? Was his pain just… dramatic garnish?

His arc only made sense if he’d never risked his heart before. If he was untouched, unscarred by love—because love never happened for him until Prarthana. That’s what made their dynamic so achingly real.

Now what? They want us to believe that Prarthana isn't the storm that shook him, but merely the girl he happened to marry because Sonalika exited stage left?

No. Absolutely not.

"He meant it at that time"

This line should be banned from all emotionally driven stories. “I meant it at that time” is the laziest, most cowardly way to retain sympathy while invalidating everything the current story stands for.

If Shivansh meant it, then:

His coldness toward Prarthana wasn’t fear, it was just… indifference.

His eventual surrender to her wasn’t growth, it was settling.

And his breakdowns, his apologies, his vulnerability—they were all hollow.

What does that make Prarthana? A rebound with good timing?

Are we seriously expected to root for a love where one would have happily married someone else if his mother hadn’t re-entered his life? If Sonalika hadn’t been absent, Prarthana wouldn’t exist in his story? That’s not just narrative injustice—that’s emotional treachery.....

This is not my Shivansh....and I am refusing to accept it... Nagpal needs to retire asap.....

But the fact is Makers pulled a stunt like this ... after us knowing that she actually tried to kill Prarthana,a pure hearted innocent girl who is also a victim of circumstances only...and the fact is there are few who actually must have sympathized with her today...and the fact that like all the tracks of kkb the accident and the cause of it would probably never be exposed..but this 7 saal ka rista would be rubbed on our face..like crazy to justify Sonalika 's obsession...

First toh I didn't like the way Sonalika was sitting on the bed ..the way she is walking in and out of Shivansh 's world as if she owns it....the way Sonalika is touching him again and again...and I would love it if Prarthana actually says it to him on his face this time...May be her reason for leaving is sacrificial...but she can pretend and say this thing to her..."kis muh se aap ne mujh pe shak Kiya"...I want someone to say this to Shivansh...

Yeah I also am eagerly waiting for Shivansh 's confession ....I know that's going to be beautiful and powerful as Shivansh 's love for her is powerful like a 🔥....his passion and the way his soul craves for her is unique...and special..

And mujhe aaj bhi Shivansh se koi shikayat nahi hai... mujhe shikayat baas writing se hai... it's not about his previous long relationship with Sonalika, it's about the way they chose to handle it...like a means

I mean it's not that they destroyed Shivansh Randhawa with this....no this can be a compelling arc if handled properly with care...but will cvs do that? Do they have any intention? I have serious doubt...I would be the happiest if they actually prove me wrong and surprise me with something nuanced....but will they🤣🤣

They already have so many loose ends to tie up... Shivansh -smita angle if they deal with it with the maturity and emotional depth it deserves along with Prashiv...then that would have been enough for the one month but they chose to go this route..to make Sonalika relevant....when we were expecting them to gradually start removing the sideys

I meant to say did writers do this purposely for homemakers sympathies for 2 girls or did have serious trauma writing it. I believe it’s for trp purposes only they had no intention to do it for any other reason . Or writers typo like me. It’s all an writng mistakes

Watch Shivansh come back to life like before and Shivansh confession. Smitha-Shivansh scenes, Prarthana smiths scenes. And smiths PraShiv scenes.

Or it will be shown as Sonalika daydream.

Shivanah isn't right though, he told Sona she can sit and in less then minute he said he wanted to sleep. Shivansh was in a no patience mood, I hated her holding his hands too but every time he remove it she, girl was missing how uncomfortable he felt. Sona got the wrong conclusion that Shivansh loves, he's so out of sort cause Prarthana isn't around and I'm so happy about it.

I'm so glad Prarthana will be out of that Animal Farm, let them deal with Shivansh moody attitude, and let him deal with his BM manipulation and cheap lies. While his behen with the twisted wig talks on both sides of her mouth., cause she stupid. One minute she said time change bhia don't feel the same for Sona is all Prarthana. Then in the next breath she want them to be like they used to be, and Sona will get bhai if she keeps her focus on Shiv only not Prart. I see why she still single living off bhia

It’s all cvs fault not Shivansh fault. I felt bad for Namik that the writers are trying to mess with his character.

I don’t have trust on cvs anymore last Ekta show the leads were getting married again for the kids and the evil sister forces fl to leave and force ml lead married her. And he says he told panditji to read fake mantras so the marriage is not valid. They threw sh.t and we kind of went with it till last week were things picked up and Leads got footage and happy ending. In short I am trying to say is they will through in lot of bs which doesn’t go with original character of the leads.

you know my mom said if this show is trying to get trps. Cv’s are targeting homemakers aunties by showing 2 girls being wronged by a guy. To raise their sympathy for the girls and raise trps. Aunties or homemakers will take the bait. This is a gimmick And with Shivansh being an antihero that would make sense.

As far I know they can say in 1-2 episodes Shivansh was playing along with Sonalika games to learn the truth. Then he tells her stop your bs nonsense
