Record in UK for 2025, War 2 might break this if it is a hit
What are the highest grossing YRF films of the past decade? Pathan obviously dominates with 1000cr, but is Saiyaara heading for the 2nd spot is what I want to know. It could if we look at these numbers and if War 2 underperforms and Saiyaara holds on in India and overseas...
ETA: Sultan is number 2 after Pathan with more than 600cr so that seems impossible for Saiyaara but top 5 is certain.
One thing is for sure though that Saiyaara may end up being YRF's most profitable film in terms of Return on Investment.
No Ranveer Singh or Hrithik Roshan in this club yet, will HR finally join it with War 2 and Ranveer with Dhurandar, remains to be seen.
Yeah, people in UK are obsessed with it. This movie is viral all over TikTok with people crying over it and watching it multiple times.Originally posted by: elaichichai

Yeah my bestie from UK is also in love with it and was the one who recced it so much to me that I had to watch it..lol
In terms of domestic collections
Mind boggling numbers, Adi better not screw up his next film and make sure to give him the best of the best and hoping Ahaan continues to stay under the radar and not be over exposed, it will build more anticipation for his next release.
Success comparisons with older movies (many years older) aren't fair, imo... if one wants a fair comparison, one should adjust the compared boxoffice to what it would mean today...or better compare the footfalls as also the ticket prices are higher now.
Apart from that objection, I'm happy that a newcomer movie has such a success given the plot point of Alzheimer's desease.

Forget Dhurandhar and the breathless declaration of it being “historic” purely because of box-office numbers and time-tested, loud Hindi-cinema...
They say one rotten apple can spoil the lot, but Saiyaara proved the opposite. In an industry saturated with remakes, safe bets, and that...
