I didn't like a single song, was expecting better. The movie itself was average, typical Hindi formulaic movie. Could have easily cut short by 30mins, dragged too much. And just like Aashiqui 2, this didn't make sense either.
But I saw the movie on Friday... evening show...full theatre. People are liking it & it's a hit. Good for all involved.
This movie doing well everywhere shows how starved romance fans were. Makers underestimate love stories starring intense rugged heroes and simple heroines. Itv survived on this trope and the leads went on to become iconic because of it. Bollywood somehow abandoned age appropriate love stories and moved on to soulless films.

Forget Dhurandhar and the breathless declaration of it being “historic” purely because of box-office numbers and time-tested, loud Hindi-cinema...
They say one rotten apple can spoil the lot, but Saiyaara proved the opposite. In an industry saturated with remakes, safe bets, and that...
