Shocking opening. I found the trailer mediocre and mix of Aashiqui2 and Rockstar. So really surprised with the kind of opening this is getting.

I don't understand the collective chant about corporate bookings all the time. I am not denying it might be happening but I think we exaggerate the scale or impact. Who would pump money into this movie -YRF, then why not to Tiger or Shanshera, Mohit Suri? then why not to his last flop, Ahaan Pandey? Sure he might be rich and a nepo but then if money could achieve this, Agastya, Ibrahim, Suhana and Ananya definitely didn't lack that.

I think something about this movie appealed to viewers. I don't know what - music, Mohit Suri's track record of musical hits (about time we start recognising that directors are stars too), good looking, fresh leads who seem to have acted decently or jilted / tragic love story.

We have had Maine Pyaar Kiya, QSQT, Aashiqui 1 and 2, Ek villain which became big hits because of charming newcomers and/or lovely music in a love story.

The issue here is that the music is not as big a hit as those albums were. For example : The minute Bekhayali from Kabir Singh dropped , social media went crazy with organic hype. A2 music was bigger.

Yes find me an SRK or Salman or a Hritik standing like a no one at a Padda family function and I will say the same thing for her....

Listen I have nothing against these 2....like I said ...they haven't done anything to make me go against them....I am just trying to understand ...ye ho kya raha hai...

Until the trailer dropped ..I didn't even know about this movie....yes I knew Ahaan Pandey because of Chunkey Pandey....but that is about it....

My point is, Just spotting an SRK in some corner you cannot determine if they helped their kids get their debuts. There are multiple pictures of pre Bollywood SRK with Dilip Kumar, his mom being friends with top congress politicians, him coming from a top influential college from Delhi where only the politicians’ and millionaires send their children to. You get the drift? Taking away someone’s hardwork calling them nepo is not fair is all I am trying to say here. Because if the definition of an outsider is a roadside beggar with absolutely no links and money and social standing , then absolutely no one is outsider here.

About this movie, even I didn’t pay any attention not before not now. However , since I am here I am hoping the newcomers have some zing in them and are able to give the Bollywood some much needed good younger actors because currently we have no one filling that category.

i dont trust the reports. the trailer i stopped midway. nothing against the newcomers somehow i dont trust the reports.

mohit suri is a poor director. i will be happy if everyone proves me wrong.

Stars won't be happy to see this film open at 20+ cr.They will have a lot of explaining to do about the openings of their past and future films.

People buy tickets for any film that excites them. Glad that emotional films are back.

I liked the girl better.The female lead is very important in love stories..I guess public thinks that, she is worth all the music and emotions in the film.She has a very good face and is a good performer.

Ahaan used to date Suhana back in the day when he used to be chilling with her everywhere. Ive seen his pics from 3-4 years ago, he gives Ranveer vibes in terms of enthusiasm lol. I just feel bad for Vedang who is now looks like a cheaper version doppelgänger
