It's quite infectious to notice the enthusiasm for and dedication to the project. Again, I think one shouldn't come up with numbers but with giving this love for the project to the audience.
When DNEG and Prime Focus merged in July 2014 forming a combined entity that would operate under the DNEG brand, DNEG got a firm place into the Indian/Hindi filmindustry... Brahmastra became the first project former Prime Focus made under the name of DNEG ... those who watched the movie know the impact the VFX work made in favour of the movie (probably the main favour).
So, yes, I'm all for using good advanced cinematic techniques to enhance a movie.
As for the musical part, I already was well served by Rahman and Zimmer...I'm quite confident that this will be another treat in the two movies.
However, to me, the main parts in the movie are story and acting, then cinematography and settings. I hope, the makers deliver there, too.
Will they brag about the VFX-work throughout the next months??? What they w i l l do... why not keeping mum now and tell afterwards with the showreels what they have done and how.
