Just 75 overs were bowled today, and we have lost 22 overs across two days despite using the extra half-hour. Something the match referee will keep a close eye on. India lost 2 wickets in the final session.Karun Nair looked quite promising and once again failed to cash in after being on 40 off 62 deliveries. Root, it must be said, took an absolute blinder to dismiss Nair and Gill had a rare failure with the bat, nicking Woakes to the keeper on 16. The bounce has been up and down, but Archer has looked quite sharp on his return to Test cricket. Carse may not have anything to show in his wickets column, but he did enough damage with the bat by knocking a vital fifty early on in the day. Woakes, too, had a very ordinary game until he got the big fish in the form of the Indian skipper. This Test match seems to be going to a very slow pace in comparision to the first two Tests, but the pitch surely seems to have more juice in it than yesterday. Will it get more quicker tomorrow? KL Rahul got a hundred the last time India played a Test here. India need more of the same from him if they are to get anywhere close to the England total. Let's see how things pan out on moving day. Join us nice and early for all the action. Cheers!!

The first target to team India should be to cross that 350+ runs. Then the second innings will define the fate of this test. Losing Jaiswal and Gill is very unfortunate. But, still good batters are there to score good number of runs. Rahul is still there playing an anchor role, that is good for the team.

Good Question

Duke Softy Ball is 43 overs or so old so i predicted india will be doing good on day 3 till eng take fresh hard Duke ( 80 ovs), we need NRR 3 plus than less.

Time for Nitish to play vintage innings for india
