He went undercover in 2004, the time when Doval was leading the Intelligence Bureau. This is why we have Doval's character in the movie cause Doval must have been overseeing the mission as the head of IB.

Even though one can't stop (superficial) comparisons, one can contradict them, especially with well delivered arguments smiley1

LOL..

Yes, because Animal is not the first film to have gore and violence and Ranveer's look is more a repetition of his own Khilji look than that of RK's. If some of you suffer from a recency bias and refuse to acknowledge how many bigger southern movies like KGF Pt 1 (which released before Animal) had the same and more, then sorry but that is being delusional IMO. Even more so when Ranveer's look is clearly inspired by the undercover look of Major Mohit Sharma more than anything else

I simply agree in superficial similarities...if one doesn't look beyond the movie Animal, one will see only those superficial similarities with that movie... action movies belong to a genre and Dhurandhar will be very different from Animal, I suppose even though belonging to the same genre... the former being a spy-action-thriller film, the latter an action-drama one.

I have seen Animal, KGF, Kantara and Padmaavat. So yes I know what I am talking about.

naming someone "delusional" isn't an argument but a not-so-nice opinion smiley2

Btw, if people want to think of Animal when watching the Dhurandhar teaser, it's their choice...
