I guess you have not read my comment properly I said about the intent - “he was going to confess the truth to her” - People had issues even for this because apparently he is confessing because he is selfish.

I was solely talking about the intent of him confessing -(a) because he is selfish (b) because he could not see Ab suffering for the mistake she never committed

No one is justifying what he did for 7 years. But even when he wanted to confess - people have issues with it. That is the problem or blind hatred

If it was a misunderstanding or some solid majboori bec of which he ran away & he felt guilty for 7 yrs , it made sense..but he always stood by his decision to run away & if he didnt accidently come to udaipur , he would never think of coming back...and all this was triggered by petty jealousy when he himself is engaged to another woman ..

Dadisa was right, she only got to know the truth recently that too by chance..

Kuch bhi ho, how does it matter , how abhira madam will react to the truth is what's important ..

Hai toh dono hi galat ...dadisa & arman both .

Even if wants to reveal the truth, its an issue for people

My POV is if people are filled with hatred for a person, then their perception of that individual can become clouded, leading them to disregard or minimize the person's positive actions.

Garbageman can reveal the truth regardless of what geetu or dadisa say ..what's stopping him ?

@bold: did I miss something in the epi?! He disregarded Geetu’s plead and told right away bluntly that he is going to confess to Ab even after their conversation. Do not filter anything he does from your lens of negative emotion/ harred you feel for him.

No one can justify whatever he did for those 7 years. But you should not expect that he should not correct his sin or take a step towards what is right.
