On a more serious note, Mannat has already created 'gold digger' image by requesting shares and money, she is keeping up that image maybe. Also for Mannat, Vikrant faked marriage plan with Malla to make her confess, when she rejected, he would have cancelled the wedding (he did), but he married Malla the next day. Why would she think about decreasing their distance?

He got far too used to pulling the ‘boss’ card on Mannu to do his bidding, even though not in malice from Vikrant’s pov, (unlike the rest of them) you could tell it bothered Mannat a lot- a constant reminder of her garibi and need to stay in employment for Shruti Maa, in comparison to his social status. (Makers intentionally went ott on this, probably as they always had this switch in mind).

But I’m not ready to see Vikku as the bad guy, I want Mannu’s sternness directed at the others too ☹️
