"The hover cover is off. Sun peaks out for just a bit" is the latest, heartening update from Kaushik

After four days of gruelling cricket, we can't yet proclaim with certainty which side, if either, is going to win. As we approach the start of play on Day 5, there's perhaps more attention on the weather forecasts than the cricket as rain threatens to ruin an absolutely riveting Test match. That's why this update, from Kaushik who's at Headingley, is crucial: "Good morning from Headingley. It's not as cold or as windy as yesterday but it's still cloudy. There's a slight drizzle in the air and that's why the hover cover is in place." England have, in theory, 90 overs and 10 wickets to try and get 350 on a wearing surface that's produced extra bounce for the seamers and offered grip for the spinners. While we can't call a winner yet, we can safely conclude that if weather allows a full day's play, we're in for an absolute classic.

Narsima Chilkuri: Test cricket at its absolute best - poised on a knife’s edge. Bumrah with the ball, Jadeja with the rough, England with belief, and rain with mischief. 90 overs, 350 runs, 10 wickets - all four results alive. Can’t script it better.

KL Rahul: Blockbuster finish waiting tomorrow. When the Test started, I felt it was a beautiful batting wicket and it would go towards a draw. But the wicket's played tricks, has had wear and tear. Cracks should open up tomorrow, Jadeja will have rough. There's been up-and-down movement, pace has gotten slower generally. A few balls have kicked up. (What's the chat with Pant when he plays outrageous shots?) Just stay silent. I've had a few partnerships with him, it's hard for us to understand his mindset but you've to let him be. You've to chat with him, keep him relaxed. Not a lot has changed for me recently, I'm just getting runs now. I used to not convert starts earlier, I'm just at a stage where a lot of things have changed. I'm a lot calmer and not chasing numbers. Lot of work put in behind the scenes, spent a lot of time with Abhishek Nayar. I was in a 'quality of quantity' mindset for a while. Of course, mid-30s average hurts me, but I don't want to look into numbers too much. Whenever I'm given the chance to play for my country, I want to do my best. Blessed with opportunities again and again. Someone's gonna win tomorrow, will be an interesting day. Wicket's not as easy as it was in the first innings. Them taking chances will keep us in the game. We'll try to put as much pressure as we can.

KK: "Going through Rahul's interview, this could be cracker of a game, provided few things pan out - Weather, line & length bowling, and catching! "

robert: "4 an over for 90 overs if definitely doable but the slightest nick can put the kibosh on the whole thing. I'm looking forward to this."

Ben Hansford: "England to surprise us all and defy all conventional wisdom by digging in to be 114-2 off 90 overs at the close of play. Ben Duckett 36* off 234 balls with 192 leaves..." No way 85 overs will be bowled
