They did not reunite till the last episode because ganja loves “thrilling episodes till the end.” That’s their style of functioning. Karma and storyline has nothing to do with it.

In that case why is Abhira being “punished”. She is literally blameless.

Yeah he will be given punishment to write "I love Abhira" hundred times now Also if he gives up Maira's custody and let her stay with Abhira, that won't be a punishment. Abhira won't get those 7 years back by him doing ehsaan of giving up Maira's custody. If he shows Maira's milestones to Abhira, or share her milestones and how he spend his 7 years as a struggling single parent, even that won't be termed punishment. Even if he witness Abhira getting married to Anshu that won't also be punishment, as he himself wanted to get married to Geetu.

The only punishment that will be actual punishment for him is separation from Maira and guilt that he was the cause of Maira's disappearance. His fatherhood getting questioned, his emotional, mental and physical trauma getting ignored. The only punishment that can lead to real redemption is him experiencing the same guilt, pain, suffocation, blame and separation from child without knowing she is alive or not, the pain Abhira experienced for 7 longgg years, but alas him giving up Maira's custody and accepting Abhira moving on will be called redemption.

But guys what punishment should armaan get.. nutty you said harsh punishment.. to me a harsh punishment would be him,seeing abhira marry anshuman and they get custody of Maira…and Maira living with them. For him to lose both Maira and abhira..will hurt him..

1. Ab should get married to Anshuman

2. Maira should hate him after knowing the truth and start calling Anshuman as dad

3. In Maira’s wedding he shouldn’t be allowed to do kanyadhaan.

4. Like how Abhir became sharma, Maira should become Raizada
