I like his character and the actor is fine, but I agree he doesn’t have the spark a parallel lead should’ve. He’s not parallel lead but could’ve/should’ve been if RS took an actor with better screen presence. RK was better actor but his character was kinda ruined in between after he felt for Abhira. And he himself was poor, so could’ve not given stability to Abhira.
