GT are eliminated. It will be MI vs PBKS in Qualifier 2. Despite the early loss of Gill, GT kept the chase going with a fine stand between Sai Sudharsan and Kusal Mendis. The left-hander continued his rich vein of form with eye-catching strokes and some of them were just astounding. Kusal on the other hand played his strokes too before unfortunately he went back on his stumps. Washington came in at 4 and the two left-handers got the big overs needed to keep the chase going. That's when MI turned to Bumrah and the man didn't disappoint. A searing yorker not only floored Washi but left him to do a full split en route to getting bowled.
