@bold I don't think a child's character can be blamed for adults' decisions even in fiction. Makers could've separated them any other way, if not for child. It was Armaan's decision to consider Abhira a bad mother and leave her bleeding and injured after himself hiring that nanny without background check. Even after finding Maira safe and sound, it was his decision to resent Abhira for 7 years and to keep their daughter away from her. Maira has nothing to do with his decisions. She can't control or change her father/mother's feelings for her.
