Yashji made his two first movies against the partition in people's mind. The first one was Dhool Ka Phool with the famous song (and thought): "Hindu Banega Na Musalman Banega, Insaan Ki Aulaad Hai, Insaan Banega" ...the Muslim adoptive father rightly sings it to a (Hindu) child whose innocent mind isn't polluted (yet) by thoughts about religious concepts. There are two lines in the song I feel being the most important ones (translated into English):

"God has created each human just a human - it's us who turned him into a Hindu or a Muslim"

"The nature has bestowed upon us one earth - It's us who've created India here, and Iran there"

The reaction - especially towards Dharmaputra - made Yashji change his focus on doing non-political romantic movies...until VeerZaara.

Each crime against a human being is a crime done by a human being, no religion is an excuse because God/Allah/the Creator/ has no religion...humanised deities may have special forces but they aren't the supreme spiritual force.

This is thread #7...seven threads dealing with hatred and crimes against human beings whose religion is not the own one...a hatred born because of what indoctrinated and mobbed-up believers did with using the religion as excuse for personal or political agendas.

Religions are used as propaganda - worldwide - since they got invented by humans. And the abundance of means to spread this propaganda completely blurs the lines between genuine and manipulated.

most importantly ty for agreeing even if indirectly that Islamic terrorism is the biggest menace in the world both covert and overt. Pakistan is a state sponsor of a terror and as the world is realizing, the large pearl kf the community is involved in this at least covertly if not overtly.

Speaking up against Islamic terrorism isn’t hate. It’s called zero tolerance against Islamic terrorism and an apathy towards them I understand your concern on 7 threads as previously you all tried all the playbooks to silence people on this topic but now find that try as hard as you want, it will not succeed . Even if you use the word hate to describe people standing up against Islamic terrorism A for Effort on / F for failed efforts:)

Loathing people who do violence (and terrorism is exactly that), condemning their deeds, accusing them of murder and punishing them, I agree...hate for an -ism like terrorism, extremism is hate for a concept that systems use to oppress and align people.

Already in thread # 1, I clearly expressed that Islamic terrorism has to get eradicated, that Pakistan's governments, army and intelligence service have nourrished, trained and used Islamic terrorists for own gains, goals and delusion of grandeur. I don't have to repeat this every time I make a comment.

My take is against a sweeping swipe...it's not an eye for an eye that makes the world blind... it's stupidity, imo (which has a knack for getting its way).

The Navagraha we used to worship were the five planets visible by naked eyes, sun, moon, Rahu and Ketu (the last two being called Chaya grahas which seem more to be fictional.

The nine planets as we know weren't known to them, neither was earth considered a planet. The "grahas" were only the celestial bodies they saw moving in sky+ the fictional Rahu and Ketu

That's the issue with us, ancient Indians were pretty scientifically advanced compared to others at that time, however we want to brag about things which actually never was.

I think it's high time india should intervene. We had done for Hyderabad and Sikkim. Though I know situation is bad this time but Bhutan and Bangladesh needs to be in India's control now. These two have been a menace. Unstable Islamic BD is not in India's favour specially when we have WB as it's neighbour.
