My secularism went down the drain when I felt disgusted by a colleague who was bravely telling me how her ancestors got converted in 15 century. I didn't say anything then.. another one argued about hijab when she herself was modern. Double standards made me firm.

Hi bro. I have a crazy schedule these days. Super busy and as you said , I don’t know what is going on in BWF. They attack anyone and everyone. I posted a picture of 3 khans without any religion mentioned whatsoever. A member brought religion in. I even replied on why. Guess what. Posts thrashed. Warning given.

No reply on my thread locked and it seems like Clochettes job is to keep threatening with members on reports. She got my previous id that I created a couple of days before this one called FBIReport banned.

I have mailed mods on even unlocking the thread they locked which doesn’t violate any rules. They might be using an approach of writing bad comments without any repercussions for themselves and then flag to mods to lock the threads from what I see. I don’t understand any of this.

I am copying the moderator on my reply so he or she can escalate this if there is any such process. Other wise I will follow you out as banned. See you bro.

There has been enough discussion on caste system among hindus but none on how much better or worse it is among Christians as well.

Giving them 5 kg rice won't change their lifestyle. Gov provides enough ration to poor people. Housing, toilet, school, bijli, pani etc os also given to them and yet if they feel t greedy enough to convert, they are free to do so..

But there is no need to sympathize with such people or make upper caste hindus villains. They are also struggling to make the ends meet. Why is it expected form them to take care of each n every poor lower caste hindus?

Yes im on social media and im very much aware of how things work. I have already seen how people mock converts and how, in turn, they retaliate. Obviously many of them arent even on social media, so the ones who retaliate cant all be labeled as ricebags. Then tell me, is it fair for people of our own religion to call them that, especially when they arent even online to defend themselves??

Whenever there is any indian christian, related reel, the comment section is full of mockery, people calling them ricebags. Why?? What gives anyone the right to mock them??

And before you answer that, let me ask, Why do people convert to christianity for something as basic as 5kg of rice?? Isnt the answer simple?? They are forced to convert because they cant even afford food, often due to the deep rooted discrimination they face in our society.

Now im not saying converts are flawless but comparing them to jihadis is just ridiculous. Have christian converts ever carried out terrorist attacks?? No. Then how are they even comparable to jihadis??
And regarding the argument that they are hateful towards hindus, lets be honest, are hindus not hateful toward them too?? If not, then why do we mock them every chance we get??
Even if they do show hate, isnt it somewhat understandable given the discrimination they have faced?? Lets talk about why hindus mock them in the first place. Hate doesnt come from one side only, taali ek haath se nahi bajti.

From what i have seen in reels, its never the converts who initiate hate in the comments. They usually retaliate only after being mocked and labeled as ricebags. The mockery starts with our people.

As for the claim that they remain backward even after converting, do you really think people who cant even afford rice will care about social status before converting?? Their priority is survival. They are not thinking about whether they will become upper class or remain lower class, they are just trying to feed themselves and their families.

I fully agree the point about those who convert poor, backward people do it for their own gain and they are often funded by foreigners. But lets look at ourselves, why do these people even feel the need to convert?? The answer is simple, discrimination.
If they werent facing discrimination in our society, why would they ever feel the need to leave their religion?? Nobody willingly leaves their faith unless they are brainwashed by islamic extremists or they are so oppressed that they see no other way.

If we cant even accept the truth about the problems in our society and instead just blame the converts or those who converted them, how are we ever going to address the root cause??
The real problem is caste based discrimination in our society. Until we face that reality, conversions will keep happening. And the fact that you are only blaming them and playing the victim card says a lot.
Im from an upper caste hindu background myself but im very aware of where this problem starts and i understand it better than you seem to. If you want to keep that blindfold on, go ahead, no one is stopping you. But dont be rude to others when i havent even been disrespectful to you.

Yes upper caste people are also suffering but not because of caste discrimination. The lower castes are suffering from that, so there is a difference between their struggles and ours.
No one is asking upper caste people to take care of every lower caste individual. But the least they can do is stop caste based discrimination, that alone would go a long way in solving hunger and poverty.

And if even that is too much for them to do, then yes, if someone from a lower caste converts for just 5kg of rice, i believe its justified. Neither i nor anyone else has the right to judge them for doing what they need to survive.
I can definitely blame missionaries for taking advantage of their poverty and i can also blame upper caste for maintaining discriminatory systems but if someone is converting just to fill their stomach who am i to stop or blame them??

So please, step out of your victimhood bubble and look at the real reasons why people are suffering.
Unless and until we ourselves are willing to recognize and fix the root problem, this issue will never go away.
