The discrimination in cities now a days is more of economic status which is another beast altogether. But the real caste problem really is in the villages. The amount of discrimination they go through is heartbreaking. Did you watch Article15?

Do you know that article 15 is based on a real life case known as Baduan case. The actual culprits there were Yadavs (OBC) but movie had the culprit named Brahmadutt Thakur Singh (like an upper caste Kshatriya)

While also remember it is the same case during which Mulayam Singh Yadav(again an OBC) had remarked "ladke hain ladkon se galati ho jaati hai"

While I understand the caste dynamics and know it's very bad in villages. But often the antagonist aren't the ones who are generally portrayed.

Brahmins today are one of the least powerful groups and yet they are targeted the most.

Many cases of Caste discrimination does happen by OBCs and yet they are hardly blamed.
