Actually, it's the president who is the CoC. Not the Prime Minister.
Not really. It’s too long for me to explain how it actually works. President isn’t CoC like we think — in US it is. Unless we declare emergency - lots of nuances of how it operates in India on a day to day basis.
Else all the briefings by NSA and armed forces would be with the president of India not PM

I don’t agree and you don’t have to.
Next thing you will say you want xyz to immediately become PM - who would be that person in your opinion with that trust ?
And no - in a democracy the commander in chief will always be the publicly elected head .. so it won’t be armed forces head
It's not what I say. It's what the public will say. And I'm sure you will hear it soon. The commander in chief also serves the public in a democracy, right?
Maybe I'm wrong... And I'll accept it wholeheartedly if this whole ceasefire thing indeed turns out to be beneficial but right now, to me, it seems apna thoda popat type ho gaya.
We should have made known publicly that a request has come from pak about ceasefire. If pakistan didn't contradict that statement, Then only we should have accepted it.
To the people asking Khans’ messages. None of the bigger stars like Amitji, HR, PC etc posted anything. Apparently Aamir Khan doesn’t have a personal account and he expressed his allegiance through his Aamir Khan Productions account.
In any case, it’s useless to beg for their messages. We all know these stars only care for their personal interests.

The President is the ceremonial head of the Armed Forces in India.
Well let me be very clear and people are free to call me out for this
We need to wait till 12th May's joint statement. Until there is some condition favourable to India declared in it, Shehbaz isn't wrong in claiming victory..
It's because although we destroyed everything there and responded to their actions with utmost zeal. That was never out objective
Our objective was to stop terrorist harbouring from Pakistan, to avenge Pahalgam and to make Pakistan unable to fight against us
Now we all know Pakistan won't stop harbouring terrorists, just shift it into more dense areas
We couldn't catch the culprits of Pahalgam (assuming) they might not return it since their return into Pakistan
While we destroyed their bases so much they still attacked us after ceasefire announcement showing that they still have the capacity to hold/attack us (even if not to sustain that attack)
If you go into a battle and don't achieve your goals even after destroying enemy it's a loss for you.
I am hoping something good comes up on 12th May.
I agree... The only perfect answer to Islamist is a communist...

1. please don’t hide / assume what public will say. It’s good enough for it to be your individual opinion and neither your nor mine represents the public correct ?
2. Did you watch the press briefing even? Do you know we categorically said they called us ? Their DOMA director of military operations ? So your facts are not in place
3. You can choose to be a Monday morning quarterback. Every decision anyone makes has a chance of 50% right or wrong and in hindsight you can say. We were right or wrong. Truth is that doesn’t change the government does in that moment when it chooses to make the decisions with all known facts at hand and paths it explores
4. So given 3 above if you know God who has complete knowledge and foresight who we will all accept as our PM and will make no mistakes / rest assured humans will make mistakes the best leaders and the rest

Are you actually debating this with me ? Or trying to make a vague point using the word “ceremonial” ?
So let me ask plainly. Who is the commander in chief that is making final decisions ? PM - Yes / No ?
