Gujarat Titans’ narrow win over Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium has given the defending champions another ray of hope. Their chances of qualifying are now stronger if they win all of their remaining three matches. In their last game at home in the league stage, they don’t need any other inspiration than trying to play at least one more match here in the season — with the stadium set to host the Qualifier 2 and the final.
