Had KMTMG aired on SP / Colors etc. without Sriti as lead actress, it would NOT have completed 500+ episodes, forget even having an anniversary run, that's blatant fact.

Time slot change decision by channel was perhaps taken during Jul 2024 after 10.15pm /10.30pm Kmtmg telecast overlapping even with airtime of long run KDB still wasn't working out, this was after, both educated working & regular family audiences disconnect and disappointment with Kaise's story movement, un-relatable plot twists and main characters shabby usage that peaked from May 2025 onward before prolonged open terrace stay of Chitnis already bored them. POST that crappy mela night half hindu wedding mockery, after turning snobby Babita into irredeemable mom as if she is the obsessive main vamp, then ex Priyanka's entry to live with Ahuja's as if she is legal wife which also got shown forced by Babita, then once upon time sharp, outspoken, strong yet jobless Amruta unbelievably shown turning into some meek & conservative patni/bahu handling domesticity, along with uneducated Bhavani immediately forcing Virat as if dharmic pati on her beti making her do vrats for him & his family, Amu not retaliating properly to numerous public humiliations she got subject to.. etc. etc.

See TV viewers like us have 100+ things to blame Z for, but why makers & cast are now jumping to highlight during Apr/May 2025 as if ONLY time slot change main reason to lose audience, fall in ratings that leads to closure of this daily serial? that too when channel still gave 8 more months in reality for makers to bounce back with their story telling and character developments? Would have been little sympathetic to makers and crew if some abrupt closure of Kaise happened during Oct 2024 after Rajeev's first kidnap and murder attempts on Amu & Nimmi during Dussera navratri paving to villains causing climax, but Sry not fully now.

I doubt SP / Colors will give them this run even with Sriti on board. Zee had some need to have her around. The other channels may not.

Was looking back at the last track that I liked (relatively / comparatively).... To me it was Nimmi-Rajeev exposure one - too violent, but at least some of it went as expected... with him getting arrested in the end. I liked bits of the jungle track in the Navratri kidnapping... the rest.... almost nothing. Did like bits of Amu phase when she was alone post leap - before RA showed up. And these are just the better ones of all the half baked cookies they've served.

Screenplay has been below par since ep 1 ... the story was fine to begin with, but slowly started deteriorating reaching a plateau with the extended terrace stay and went pathetic with the mela wedding... and at least for me, never recovered from there.

Its convenient for them to blame the channel and the time slot change. Dont know if it is the PH who fooled the fans or the other way round, but blaming it all on the channel and time slot change is a cop out. Guess its easier for MD and her "core team" to hide behind these narratives than see the fact that they suck at what they are doing.

Strange for me though is the 'love' MD is getting from the fans.. I can understand the love for the leads, the jodi, etc... but the same for MD and even the writers? well... these are the guys, the fans dont realise, responsible for the show going off air - thanks to their wonderful abilities in their respective crafts.
